Picnic at Hanging Rock is an Australian historical fiction novel by Joan Lindsay. Set in 1900. It never actually happened.

A few weeks ago we went camping at the kilns at mount samaria and went for a "short walk" but we decided to keep going and ended up at the summit. I only took a 700ml bottle of water that i carried in my hands..... made it back to camp but it was exhausting.... Today I bought a hydration pack :D
@AdventuresofKatelyn2 жыл бұрын
We always end up on walks longer than expected too 😂 glad you now have a hydration pack 🙌🏼

SO good being able to get out in it again! Everywhere close to melbourne is super busy these days now though lol!

Picnic at hanging rock is 100% fictional. I think the mystery comes from the fact they didn’t publish the final chapter. Great video though x

Hey thank you for this video. Can you suggest places that we could access through public transport?
@AdventuresofKatelyn3 жыл бұрын
From Melbourne? Most places in regional Victoria can be accessed via public transport (VLine).

Thankyou for the video. I am planning a 4 day holiday in June. Definitely so far is hanging rock and the great ocean drive. I also want to see interesting art museums. Do you have anything similar to the MONA museum in Hobart?
@AdventuresofKatelyn3 жыл бұрын
Hanging Rock is a good one and close to Melbourne. The Great Ocean Road is also beautiful, however I'm not sure you'll have enough time to see much in 4 days. As for the museum, yes, I would recommend going to NGV Melbourne. Enjoy your trip!
@shinewithme25353 жыл бұрын
There you can see wild kangaroos too
@louisgvsnoahp72963 жыл бұрын
Can you get to Lake William Hovell with vline? If so how.
@kyleearmstrong89302 жыл бұрын
hey @louisGVSNOAHP You would be able to get a vline to Benalla or a bus to Mansfield- though then you''d have to hire a car or something to get out there
@aishkoz3 жыл бұрын
Keep. It up. You can add the names of the place with footage of it. And maybe less explanation. ❤
