My favorite quest in my 16 hours in is the one with some random rock troll making soup or something and he just asks you for a can a paint...? It was such a nice change of pace from the monster hunter and mystery solving and i just found it cute that Geralt actually took the time to (poorly) draw him a pseduo banner. This game is great.

You can even let the troll paint the banner instead, and his artistic skills are much better than Geralt's lol

Reasons of State is a quest that suffered from the ambition of the developers, yet it's really really bad to the story, Diskstra is a true mastermind his intelligence is often said to be supernatural and yet he comes on stage and tells Geralt he is about to assasinate his friends right there and then. The quest was supposed to be much longer, complex and very different from what we have today, it was cut due to time restrains and it became without a doubt the worst quest in the game. Not to mention it takes place when Geralt really does not care about the politic situation because he prepares for The Wild Hunt. And to put it even more in perspective Roche somehow decides to become a vassal to the Empire he hates with everything he has and give the Emperor (who gave the order to assasinate the Temerian royal family who Roache served and loved) everything he wants.

Reason of State seems rushed, challenging Geralt head on is such a dumb thing to do and Dijkstra should definitely know better

Reason of State is (in its current form) a horrible quest. Dijkstra (in the books) is one the most intelligent (if not the most intelligent) people on The Continent. He knows for a fact that Geralt protects the persons he loves/ is friends with/indeared to regardless of anything else. He doesn't care about politics or saving the world. That's why he's arguing with Ciri before she enters Tor Gvalchka. He wants what's best for her, the world be damned to end in eternal frost. Dijkstra and Geralt know each other but they are NOT friends. Even if you don't know the coup at Thanned the game gives you a clou by Dijkstra himself Roche, Ves, and Thaler on the other hand are Geralt's friends, and had his back in the previous games as well as in this game. Dijkstra knows Geralt's character traits and relations. For Dijkstra to even suggest Geralt should betray his friends (the ones who fought the Wild Hunt to help him and Ciri) for Dijkstra's ambitions is absolutely stupid. And Dijkstra would never be so stupid, not in a million years. That's why the quest is problematic. It's a character assassination of Dijkstra. Never liked it, never will. I still play it - because of XP and because of Philippa doing a good deed for once when she kills Radovid.

@TKTrickster - 3:40 Reason of states have two problems: 1) Stupid Djikstra (while he is one of men with highest IQ) who decided to openly tell Geralt that he will kill Roche and Talar and White Wolf too if witcher not go out, and 2) Stupid Thalar and Roche who try to conspire with Emhyr while Djikstra could offer them just same thing with 10x probability of keeping his word I really miss option to convice Roche to make Temeria as independent state of Redania instead of Nilfgard...

Broken Flowers is definitely the most boring one on the list, and overall I find that quest completely uninteresting. Geralt on crazy mushrooms is the best!
