Very cool, but this list could easily be the 20 best basslines. There were just that many great Cure bass parts Simon played.

Ha, I had the video playback speed set to 1.5 from a previous video I was watching and was like "WHY IS HE PLAYING EVERYTHING SO FAST??" I thought it was maybe a copyright duck until I remembered my viewing speed was off. ;)

At first, I was worried! Where is Lovecats?! Where is A Forrest?! Then came Lovecats and there was a little balance in the force again. Then I saw the finger position 1.52-1.53 and everything was okay. Amazing job. :)

Everything was cool, but u banged A Forest, that ckunky ass tone meant for it, I'd include Another Journey by Train and Grinding Halt, maybe Killing an Arab and Play For Today, it'd be nice to see your take on these tracks, keep it up
@BasShiver3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, the tone i play is sometimes supposed to be as close as in the original, but belive me the sound of pure bass and the drums in "A Forest" would sound a bit weak and dull if you played it without any other instruments and vocals :) and to be honest i don't even have a bass that sounds like that! think about it as a more modern sound of this classic line :D

Thanks man! It's bass i bought for about 70$ at local auction portal. I repaired it and replaced neck with some rickenbacker style copy :D

@Raven Oh for sure. Gotta have "Close to Me" in there. Of course it isn't a hard bass line, but it's so iconic.
