Beetlebum is a very good bassline too, very melodic and AJ keeps adding fills in that long outro part (after the singing ends)

nice one my friend... other people have said Popscene, He Thought of Cars, Ghost Ship and even I Know should be in this list - I couldn't agree more and I'd add: Suppa Shoppa, Mace, Bang, Oily Water and Essex Dogs just to name a few. It was always strange to me how people always ignore how Alex is so good.

fun fact: the main 'heavy' riff in Song 2 is actually a heavy distorted bass... so it's technically the most famous Blur bass riff.
