People when you get a Softener you must keep the brine tank clean. Also do not fill the brine tank full of Salt only keep 2 bags at a time. allow the salt to dissolve all the way before adding more. you will be much happier.

There is unit out there which is combination of iron filter and softener. Have your water analyzed and start from there.
