Hey everyone! In future openings, I am going to just ignore the QR codes and open the packs like a normal person would lol. Watching this back, the QR code handling made the video awkward, and so in the future, we'll just ignore them. I don't think it matters anyways as this is recorded and I would have scanned them prior to posting. Just a heads up!

Good first pack opening video I reckon! I liked the reduced numbers over a box because they can start to drag with all the repeats etc. so I'm totally with you on that decision. Too broke to buy any KS boosters or even a box but I've got 10 standard packs arriving for release day as a small treat and because really, it's like a drug the feeling of cracking packs :D

If you’ve already scanned the cards before posting the video, you can show the cards in a typical fashion instead of going from the back or hiding the QR code. The hydracaena is okay as I am not as thrilled with the card draw aspect because you don’t want your opponents finding an answer to it. Hatter is an absolute stat stick. I too noticed a difference in card quality between the 2 versions (KS seems higher quality).

Love the video! Hydra 4 😅 It has a lot of costs but there is a potential to put cards like muna druid in the reserve with it's effect and help you keep a pseudo eternal character on the other side to maybe lock down both expeditions (but with the extra cards you let them draw they'll probably find an answer). Hatter 5 or 6, you'll get some amazing stats. This could be best in nevenka I think. It would be awesome to get 4+ boosts and then anchor this.

Love a good pack-cracking video! Opening a full box is actually really common in MTG, and it takes maybe 15-30 minutes depending on how chatty you are. It's always nice to see what other people get, especially when they get cool things. Does Altered have foils or alt arts or other treatments?

Alternate art comes from the kickstarter packs and I knew based on what the Beyond the Gates standard art is. I don't think its identified on the card itself? Im not even sure. I don't think there's a code or anything lol
