Chapeau !

I do a massive input, but my mindset is always about being perfect, and maybe because of that I’m not able to grow in the language.

@EarthlyJoys
@EarthlyJoys 7 ай бұрын

it seems to me that Davide's Spanish accent is extremely good, I dare say even better that Luca's. Can any Spanish-speaking person confirm or reject this impression?
@sargek7
@sargek7 10 ай бұрын
As a native Spanish speaker from Chile, both of them speak very well to me. But taking your impression into account, I think you perceive Davide's accent is better just because he speaks loud, calm and clear. I can notice not only on Spanish but on the rest of the languages he speaks, he always tries to force himself to sound as perfect as possible (Watch 13:26 and 14:28). Whereas Luca's way of speak to my ears sounds more like a "native" speaker, like when people are relaxed and talk without thinking on the pronunciation of every word and syllable they say, but mostly with the intention to communicate what they need to say, which we all normally do in our mother tongue language. In conclusion, none of them is better than the other about their accent in Spanish, because this phenomenon also happens within native speakers, when some can sound like a radio locutor, and others just like a member of your family, buy they all speak the same language, and neither of those are good or bad. I hope I could've make it clear for you to understand. Also, I'm sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to take the moment to practice my English. Have a nice day!

As a native russian speaker I think I have the right to say that it’s not the best time to promote learning of russian language at the time when russia started the biggest European invasion since the end of World War Two, killing Ukrainian soldiers and civilians and sacrificing the lives of their own soldiers. Only because you know this language. No, language cannot be separated from the country and NO you cannot be apolitical and loyal to all, you’re indifferent and indifference contributes to killing more people.
@luckyluckydog123
@luckyluckydog123 10 ай бұрын
I don't think they were promoting russian language, but just speaking in all the languages they both know. I'm all in favour of boycotting russia (=the current heinous russian criminal regime, and everybody who supports it directly or indirectly), but regarding the russian language itself I'm not too sure. Here's some rather random considerations: 1. the russian language doesn't belong to putin or his accomplices 2. the russian language doesn't belong to russia or to russians (as English doesn't belong to England, German to Germany etc). 3. any language, including russian, is in itself politically neutral when analysed from a purely linguistic point of view; eg, there's nothing in russian phonetics or grammar that is for or against imperialism, and you can definitely use russian to say путин хуй. 4. it is necessary to know the language of the enemy
@elenachepurka3094
@elenachepurka3094 10 ай бұрын
@@luckyluckydog123 “thumbs up 👍 “ to your point of view, because I agree with you to a point. From purely linguistic point of view russian is a language and language is a tool of communication. But, you cannot deny that like all other tools it can be used for good purposes as well as for the bad, like propaganda, for example. Therefore I cannot agree that it’s necessary to know the language of the enemy, because unfortunately many people do not have critical thinking, so they can be easily convinced by the ideas that enemies are try to instill through their propaganda.
@elenachepurka3094
@elenachepurka3094 10 ай бұрын
@@luckyluckydog123 Then, also weapon is a tool, you can use it to protect your life or you can use it to rob a bank or kill someone. So the question is how you use it, right? The same is with language, in can be used to enrich the global culture and facilitate interpersonal communication, OR it can be used and is used to dominate and destroy the cultures and languages of minorities, not only minorities, sometimes quite big countries (by killing cultural activists, writers, and just people who disagree, imprisoning people, moving them to other areas to assimilate and break, burning libraries, changing history books, etc. These are only a few examples for purposes for which russian language was used).
@elenachepurka3094
@elenachepurka3094 10 ай бұрын
@@luckyluckydog123 the last, but not the list, I DO agree that Luca and Davide are not promoting russian language for the evil purposes, but just because they know it. Just because they’ve spent a lot of hours studying it and it’s a pity to pretend they don’t know it. Maybe also they know some “good russians” who are against the war. But can you imagine studying German on the territories, which Germany was going to occupy at the time of the WW2? I cannot. Can you? If you think these two wars cannot be compared, let’s wait when hundreds thousands of deaths will turn into millions to start doing something.

@@elenachepurka3094 I see your points, and as I've said I'm not too sure myself. The points on my list are "food for thought", arguments for a discussion, but I myself am not fully convinced of their merit or weight.
