FIY I just picked such a deal and I'm enjoying A LOT my MARQ 1. Somehow the MIP display, too. It somehow makes it look more, I donno - watch like not phone.

Personally, the screen MIP screen is a deal breaker for me, and if I wanted the MARQ I’d pay the extra for the gen 2. But that’s just the right choice for me, no wrong answer here. If you don’t need the extra that come with the epix pro, why not consider the S70?

@@GolfGuyReviews I know. the Marq wasnt even on my radar, but it felt so good on my wrist. Haha, I guess it wasnt the logical choice, but a month later I'm really happy with it. Oh, and I'm not a golfer.

Also the new MARQ series doesnt have DLC (basically fully black/dark titanium) case watch. Which is also important for me personally. so you're absolutely right. Its all a personal choice.

Could be a great deal if that’s what you’re looking for. The new S70 has a better screen, but worse battery life, and doesn’t have the titanium case or bolder looks. So really depends what you’re after

I did as well. Marq Athlete Performance Edition. Brand new on the price of Epix 2. With huge discount. I actually love the MIP display. The AMOLED looks too toy like. Besides I have my phone and the Garmin Connect app for the rest and if you want touch display etc...

Epix Gen 2 is the watch , OMED screen etc, also the Jet Lag/etc features are coming to all Garmin inc the Epix Gen 2. They are not exclusive to the Marq 2

Thanks for watching. I saw the jet lag feature was coming to the Epix 2, I just wasn’t sure when. My preference would be the Epix 2 over the MARQ 2 👍

I can see the appeal of the MARQ range for someone who doesn’t want their smart watch to look like a smart watch…but it is a very expensive option, especially given the new Fenix 8 range, or even the previous Epix 2

I managed to get my hands on a Marq 2 adventurer for 995$, almost brand new. Much superior to every Fenix or Epix and for the money was no brainer. Whether I'd spent 1200$ more to pay the original price of 2200$ though is another story.
