He sure was. I was in love with B. Preston when I was a teenager. He did claim that his mom's husband or boyfriend molested him and mom did not believe. It's only what I heard. I could literally 😢 if it's true. My sisters and I thought he was a perfectly perfect person.

I have if you read old jet magazines is slightly mentioned. Him and Teddy where bisexual. My uncle used to deliver liquid to some houses in the 70s. If these houses were little clubs where people would do orgies and he went in one room and yes Marvin and Teddy where in there having sex with another woman but touching each other

Sorry .. but I know Marvin personally .. we lived in the same projects in Washington DC his brother Frankie and I use to play touch football behind our houses … and I knew his sister Sweetcie she use to go with a guy I use to hang out with by the name .. Snook … what I’m trying to say is Marvin never showed signs of being gay … Yeah his father did but not Marvin .. Marvin was a lady’s man I use to come in Marvin’s house sometimes with Frankie until his mean ass father kicked me out … sorry but somebody got that one wrong😊

There are rumors about Marvin being bisexual. My uncle told me when he use to deliver liquor to house parties back in the 70s he saw Marvin and Teddy having a three way with a women but touching each other. You never know what people do behind closed doors but the relationship he had his dad and his dad having his own issues with his sexuality does make one wonder

Wayne Cooper from Cameo was one of the best falsetto soul singers of the '70's. He stood out with his vocals on the Cameosis album. Standout tracks are Shake Your Pants, We're Going Out Tonight and the ballad, Why Have I Lost You. He died of AIDS related cancer in the '80's.

The beautiful effects that Marvin Gaye coming out in the 70s would have had. I believe he would've been happier too. I've always thought his tragic murder was a result of his father's own repressed homosexuality.

I love Sylvester and Tony Washington, I wasn't familiar with Mr. Bean, or Mr. Labi, but now when you get to Marvin his skills are undeniable. I won't care if he was gay, straight, or Queer. However, what Quincy Jones said about Marvin, how the hell does he know? If he was gay and wanted Marvin but couldn't have him? And besides not throwing dirt on "Seniors" but can the Q's recall really be accurate? If Marvin was anything he was bi-sexual which is still a beautiful thing! However, you should be sued for not having the facts. Am I a fan of all these great men that I am familiar with hell yes! Sorry I listened to your opinion about these men. There were so many gay men that you left out who were undeniable about their sexuality. I think you just wanted to throw shade on Marvin. Hmm, I bet that is what it is. Trying to make a name for yourself! Oh well...

Marvin Gaye was not gay and never said he was. Maven added the "E" on to his last name to it clear he was not gay. Years later after doing so much drugs every night, one may not have the ability to distinguish whose a female or male. This is what Quincy Jones may have meant in saying Marvin was gay.
