Gas stations not only fail (all the time) but they are incredibly expensive to run (with all the restrictions, etc). My family owned a garage with gas for MANY MANY years (passed down from father to son {my step dad} and there came a point where they had to let the ‘gas’ part of it go so they could run their garage instead of pouring money into the gas station part. The garage did well WITHOUT the gas station but don’t believe the lies that gas stations do well and never fail.

Retirement homes may be high-margin, but they're also high-liability. Finding reliable help is very difficult, investment is high, regulation can be an issue, and -- frankly -- most retirement homes are horrible.

As for whether or not Subscription and Membership Services work that is dependent on a lot of factors beyond your control that may affect the overall performance of your business and potential revenue. You may find yourself shelling out tons of content that fails to generate a high level ROI, especially if you sold the guaranteed, no questions asked refund vs the project benefits that exceed the customer’s needs or expectations. 😮

Digital Products are probably the easiest business model to implement on this list because all of the other ventures come with a high investment or operations cost, staffing and management requirements, excellent business management skills, a high investment marketing, along with a high level failure rate due to the lack of consistent customer service, staffing problems resulting in high turnover, poor performance, resulting in low profitability due to high cost expenses, 😮 product chain supply issues, theft, fraud or 😢, profit fluctuations. 😮
