I have the Bear Bowl. You can actually cook food in it too. Lay it flat or only connected one side and leave the other open to flip your chicken breast or steak easily and BOOM... it’s an awesome piece of kit. Great for a survival kit since it lays flat in your pouch or pack. 👍

Myles Yoshimoto like them too but he missed a couple of features! The floating lighter also comes with a nice useable length of duct tape! And the folding pot has a good bit of paracord attached to the handle!

If you want to know how much gas is in a canister, pour warm water over it. In almost every case, the portion that's liquid will pull heat away from the metal canister, making it colder where it's touching it, so you can feel where it's cold or warmer. Boom, life hack.

I'm like 90% sure he's done that hack. Maybe on a grilling/bbq episode. He also showed one where there's a sticker you put on the side of the tank that changes color based on temp, works off the same principle.

Yes you can cook in the Bear Bowl! When you do any cooking without water you need to keep the heat very low. It saves gas and it's all you need to cook eggs, burgers chicken, Veggies and warming up leftovers.
