Being an amateur photographer who goes to a lot of crowded meets, I couldn’t care less if someone stands in front of me. There was even a time where this guy had a powerade on his trunk and offered to move it and move himself which I told him it was fine. One time though, I was taking a photo of this GT3 and this guy with his camera comes up behind me and tells ME to move. I have a massive “I don’t care attitude” so I kinda just stayed where I was so I could line up my shot. All while i’m lining up this shot this guy is yelling at me and is gathering so much attention that security had to come over and escort him out of the meet. Photo came out good though, it’s one of my favorites :D

@@SirBroccolingtonIII What if they give you permission? Is that an exception? Is asking for it at a car meet even allowed? I ask because a couple times in College I asked permission to sit in a few race cars so I could get a view from the cockpit, and with some cars, a chance to see the drivers POV is just something you don't want to pass up if you can help it.
@bad4hire3 жыл бұрын
@@oneofmanyparadoxfans5447 That's the thing! They just do it without asking permission! People really do just walk up to strangers' cars and start touching it, leaning on it, and more without even knowing WHO the owner is. If you expressly ask for permission, a lot of people are cool about it. Even if they say no, they're not jerks about it. At least asking for permission is going further than most people. I've met people that will even ask if you'd like to take a seat in their car or check out their sound system. Many people I've met are more than happy to even pop their hood for you if you ask. People get very excited to talk about themselves and their hobbies, you just have to ask.

Fun Fact: When my mom drove me to school, instead of dropping me off at the front of the school, she would go to the back, park at a random person's house, and she and my siblings would just walk to the school the rest of the way. Later I found out it was a family member's house, but parking there everyday just felt wrong.

Imagine thinking you deserve a car more than someone who actually worked hard for it jusg because you have more time on your hands to 'read the brochure'

6:50 it’s also pathetic because convex mirrors, especially the ones you can get our AutoZone are cheap. Literally just buy them and stick them on your mirror help out so much I have made pretty risky moves when parking and still had more than enough room to open the door on my side and the other dude to open the door on his side and all those convex mirrors

@@MRN932 Yep, happened to me like 3 times, which is a lot, considering I participated only at 5 of them. (Idk if there is any difference between US and EU in this department, I just know for experience that here are extremely rare car meets, sadly.)

I would add: The guy that puts down other people's rides. It may not be a rare car, or a powerful car, collectable, or classic, the owner loves that car. It's their baby and they are there to share their love. Maybe it is a 4 year old V6 Mustang, who cares? It's their baby and it makes them happy. That's why we go, isn't it?

That's why I vowed to never put down someone's car, especially since I myself do not own one.

It takes the same amount of effort to say something nice, as it does to put them down. The difference is that you will develop a positive reputation by being nice, rather than being known as "that asshole". 😁

For number 5, I don't have anyone to talk to since none of my friends or family are car guys. So I just try to chill and look at some cars and take some mediocre photos with my phone.

My dream car is a Ford Mustang ecoboost . Last time I checked the price it was around $ 65,000 . I genuinely believed the car's price to be approximately $ 35,000 . It was already hard for me to chase this dream . But now it became even harder . But I'm willing to sacrifice . And I will . I realized how much the Mustang resembles my personality . As if the car itself formed a blood bond with me . If one doesn't work hard for his / her dream car , he / she would never know how much he / she loves it . I won't give up until my dream comes true . After all , I'm an ambitious person .

The last point is why I don't like supercars. They don't feel accessible enough to be purchased, I'd rather go racing because it's cheaper (for some categories) and more fun in my opinion. I'm not talking about F1 or NASCAR but owning an LMP3 or a GT3 car and running prestigious races like the Daytona 24 is accessible to amateurs

as a guy who just became a car mechanic 2 years ago i have to say this to younger ones watching this vid: -i always had heart since young ages to work on stuff in general not just cars but tractors and attachments,trucks,dirt bikes,stupid tomos 50cc mopeds,chinesium scooters hell even fixing electronics like GPUs motherboards ECUs and earning a quick buck out of that -from age of 13-today i didn't go out much and did"popular stuff" like smoking and drinking but no drugs and i did not get addicted to any of them and still i can take more alcohol then my age pepole which is 19 sadge because i know how to drink and what are my boundaries of "being able to get home safe and one extra spirits shot and 15 minutes latersleeping in bushes" because i done that once with remix i do not wanna even mention at all -i will not go out much if its about having fun destroying your liver,lungs or brain -i always had a MTB always ready to go with friends and play soccer with other friends in village few miles away or talked about shit like soccer news or car/moped offerings locally etc. -whenever soemone had a blown tire or chain was trashed etc. i would tell soemone to go with me to get some tools from my garage sometimes even new shit like rubber brake pads,bolts nuts and washers hell once i gave to my friend a NGK triple tipped spark plug so he can drive the thing because i had it from a tomos moped which i bought as a parts moped and that dirt bike i swear to god that dirt bike gained decent power increase plus more RPM out of its 125cc displacement -played games when i was bored and didn't care about anything elderly told if it was not encouraging or inspirational -never really cared about being in relationship or relationships because that takes away fun time i always liked which was all of this mentioned above if you chase right now something you really want,you like doing it and it is healthy: -go 120% in and enjoy because you only live once -find a way to help out friends when they are in trobule and you know damn right you can fix it while having fun -start flipping shit you know you can fix and you know it is fixed well to the point that thing you wanna sell can actually gain you money this is the way pepole,this is the way and this is how you get your dreams come true
