BMW 335d probably the best way to go in this price category in the UK. Newest car, average 40+ mpg, low road tax, and 630 nm of torque meaning serious performance (0 - 60 under 5 seconds). A petrol head will be shocked at the performance and handling of this diesel.

I'm a Mercedes guy for sure, but I love that Panamera, so many over here in the states to choose from. Talked to a gent travelled from here in Oregon to big dealership in CA, said he couldn't believe selection of used! Got the color and spec he was looking for easy. Some non-German cars which could have made it, although some are perhaps interesting and fun rather than particularly fast: - Chrysler 300C Hemi - Mondeo ST200 - IS300 Sport Cross - Lancer Evo Estate - 9-3 Aero - Superb V6 - V60 T6 - Legacy R spec.B This video may have got me onto autotrader, although I do prefer saloons (not entirely sure why, I just prefer the look).

Just got to this video as times change and I now need an estate, good video, think there are probably a couple more in the mix, although engines are much smaller. The Golf R estate will keep up with the majority of these but the running costs significantly less 🙂

I used to own the daddy Merc fast wagon...production that is as there was a hammer wagon. I had a 1991 Non cat 300TE-24v sportline. 240bhp on full leaded 98 octane. 1490kg. No airbags. Leather, walnut and a 7500 rpm stepped variable valve timing M104.980 straight six double cam . I still kick myself for letting her go. Not as quick as today's metal i know, but seven seats- 0-60 in the very low 7 secs and 148mph. Handling was sublime in the dry or damp. The damn thing even had ASR. In the snow however...nope... leave it on the drive. A true continent muncher with room for the dog and a hoot on the twisty bits too. I miss that car.

You got the power wrong on the E63. Power is 550 bhp on the face lifted 63-16 models. The earlier ones were 525 bhp. You could have had some fast diesel estates.. 335d estate is rapid 0-60 under 5 seconds. A6 3.0 bitdi 0-60 4.9 seconds.

I like your videos, I find them quite interesting, but my only criticism is how often you throw the word "cheap" around. £20000 is not cheap, I understand you get a lot for your money but...Cheap? I know some people get paid more than others and can afford expensive things regularly, but your not doing these videos just for footballers, some people earn minimum wage, come down to our level every once and a while 👍🏻 Still a fan of the video's though.
