I cleaned out my dollar generals Christmas pics!! They also have some cute ribbons over where they have their little floral section! I grabbed white, black, gray & brown 2in burlap ribbon... then I grabbed more ribbon this past weekend because it was 50% off! I have enough Christmas ribbon for two years worth of bows!! I’m so glad I grabbed the candy canes from the dollar tree.. I didn’t know what I was going to do with it, but now I do! Thanks for the amazing ideas!! I’m bad at bow making also! I wish I could make bows like Ramon!! He is amazing!!

I really appreciate that you consider the cost of different items. So many people pay so much money for what can be made a lot cheaper and still look beautiful. In my opinion, a Christmas wreath makes a wonderful Christmas gift too.

Can I just say that I think it’s awesome that you have such great relationships with your neighbors. We have lived here for 15 years and we don’t even know our neighbors. The one to the right is a dentist and he is such a jerk. The one to the left is a divorced lawyer and he never speaks to anyone. Neither one will even wave when I pass them in my car. One of them will be mowing their lawn the same time as my husband and will pretend he can’t even see my husband out there. I grew up knowing everyone on the block so this seems strange to me, but whatever. We will be moving next spring and I look forward to new relationships with new neighbors! You are such a joy and I wish you were my neighbor!!

🌲 my gate wreaths are old and faded, collecting dust in the barn all year. I will frost them with paint and add pine cones from my yard and some kind of burlap or buffalo check ribbon. Great ideas ! Thanks

Thx for the tip on the spray paint. I have stopped buying the cheaper stuff and gone to rust-oleum or sometime krylon. Now I know the WM it's place you can use it and save some 💰! I had searched my local DT stores for my ribbons and there weren't any left. I went to WM and found my buffalo ck and red truck ribbons both and there was so much more on them that I'm sure I actually saved money! I live Dollar 🌲 but sometimes you just gotta be smart! Like that humongous wreath the best! Oh BTW just came from Ramon -- love that man's talent!

Megan, you are SOOO creative! You CAN make the Ramon & “Olivia Bow” (Olivias Home Creations) go step by step on how to make their bows in a step by step tutorial. I used to free hand my Ramon/Olivia bows like my Mom did but these are soo much easier. Believe you me, if I can make one using their method, you can too. Your creativity is endless. I made my Christmas tree topper bow by using their method and it was so much easier than free handing them! The trick is using wired edge ribbon. I KNOW you can do it! There are several DIY YT’ers that make those bows. Just pick the one that suits you. Your idea of putting two bows together is fabulous. I’m in Texas too. Us Texas women can do anything we put our mind to. I’m just saying that you have the confidence and ability to explain these DIY’s so you can make that bow IF you want to. Thanks for all the tips!!! ❤️❤️
