So a few people have brought up Xbox 360's being able to run many OG Xbox games, which is fair to mention. But, I tend to not rely on my 360 for that because from my experience it's kinda touch and go which games play better, the same, or worse. Having said that, it's a topic worth investigating so I'll be working on a video seeing what games to play and or avoid on 360.

@@RetroMediaRoom I would be over the moon for them to break up the Bond games over actors. Like a "Pierce Brosnan Collection" with his games. Craig can get a collection, Connery can have FRWL release on its own and for those that don't have an actor for Bond, maybe just say "Classic Collection". But all we can do is hope

007 Nightfire is a favorite from my childhood and I'm very frustrated that it can't be played on newer Xbox😭 I also wish there was a remaster. Recently ordered a Crystal OG Xbox to play it and a few others games again😁

Thanks! To be fair, I'm not saying these games are perfect, they do show their age to a reasonable degree, but when you consider them for their time, they're absolutely worth giving a chance.

I wish they were more open to these games being on modern consoles, especially Bond. I get licensing can be a pain but still, it’d be cool to see

Don’t forget about marvel Vs capcom 2 it’s not either playable on the Xbox one that game is playable on the 360 but can break your 360 if you play it it broke my 360 twice it also breaks PS2 and PS3 consoles the only console that can handle it is Dreamcast I just hope when marvel Vs capcom collection gets released it doesn’t break my PS4 or Nintendo Switch

Yeah I only have the DC and Xbox 360 versions, the collection won't be a problem once it comes out, that wouldn't make any sense for it to have the same issue.

I gave X men Legends to my friend. I beat it and it didnt have Bonus Play that XL2 has so i got bored of it and alot of the Boss Characters ended up beinf Playable in Xl2 with Better Moves Too

I know one really good OG Xbox game that isn't backwards compatible with Xbox One and Series X and that's Burnout 3 Takedown (I know it works on the Xbox 360, but I'm talking Xbox One and Series X) I mean if EA can make games like SSX 3 and Burnout Revenge's 360 version backwards compatible, why not do the same for Burnout 3?

Maybe there is, but all I'm ever referring to officially and natively playing on hardware, the world of emulation and modding are hardly ever what my channel touch on.

Music/movie/likeness/ copyrights and licensing. Most of the companies no longer exist, it’s basically impossible to renew a license for a game over 20 years old. Or the company that retain the license is not interested in renewing

The Xbox 360 can play more original Xbox games then the Xbox one or series X the games my favorite original Xbox game isn’t playable on the Xbox 360 so isn’t worth buying from ebay if you don’t have the game already cause scalpers want more then it’s worth you can buy the Japanese version for cheaper on PS2 this game never got released again which sucks I can only play it on the original Xbox or Japanese PS2 PS3 consoles SVC Chaos SNK Vs Capcom if you don’t own the original Xbox it’s worthless buying I bought it for $19.99 brand new sealed not $50-$100

Yeah that's unfortunate. The reason I don't always bring up backwards compatibility on the 360 is because it was spotty half the time, it's there and better than nothing, but not as good as it should have been. Hulk Ultimate Destruction for example actually runs worse on 360 than OG Xbox other than a cleaner image, it depends.

@@RetroMediaRoom well just to warn you there are some original Xbox games that can break your Xbox 360 to why their not playable on the Xbox one or series X such as marvel Vs capcom 2 I remember playing it on my Xbox 360 it broke my console that was when Xbox 360 didn’t have to many games back then I have the digital marvel Vs capcom 2 that gives achievements that game broke my PS3 also so if your paying scalpers on ebay money for that game your buying a bomb that will just break your consoles my PS2 even stopped reading some PS2 games and all PS1 games cause if that game it’s just to powerful I will never play that marvel Vs capcom 2 ever again I’ve been doing just fine by not playing it

Thankfully I've never needed to play either of those ports, and now we've got the new MVC collection coming out on PS4 and Switch.

@@RetroMediaRoom yeah capcom announced this collection after they already released it for arcade 1 up I bought the arcade 1 up that never broke playing marvel Vs capcom 2 and what I found out is the arcade 1 up has the original arcade rom that Xbox Dreamcast PS2 never had cause mame 32 never had marvel Vs capcom 2 so I wasn’t able to play it on my PC that has all the arcade roms I always knew X-men Vs street fighter-Marvel Vs capcom weren’t the arcade rom thanks to mame 32 that mame 32 was fun to have when consoles sucked back in the days

Looks like you're getting your wish, SVC Chaos is getting a new release on Switch, not sure about other platforms, likely PS4/PS5, heard they're skipping Xbox again, which is super ironic.

Yeah I haven't tested that, if it happens to run well on 360 then that's another way to go. The reason I don't put much emphasis on the 360 running OG Xbox games is because it was always hit or miss, I'll probably end up doing a video showing what games to play and to avoid on the 360 depending on performance and bugs.

From what I looked up (not tested) it was removed from backwards compatibility due to certain missions being unplayable 🤷🏼‍♂️

Kung Fu Chaos is also a great game left behind on og Xbox. I have my old Xbox hooked up just for that game.
