You should not handle your tree frogs in the way that he was. I'm sure he was saying something very educational but I wasn't paying attention for the level of fear in the way he handled them. It was too rough for their gentle skin and tender tiny bones.

carefull, it's way more fragile than you think!! and yes I do have 3 anoles a Russian tortoise and a green tree frog and I used to have 3 geckos and a chamealon so yes I am experienced

I think you're mixing up tree frogs with the larger bullfrogs and toads, these frogs are very frail and should not be aggressively grabbed like he was doing.

How to handle a tree frog Step #1 snatch frog up violently. Step # 2 hold frog by leg so it can’t get away. Step # 3 throw frog against window of enclosure. If frog stops breathing punch it in the gut, and revive it with an air duster canister.

Frogs are pretty strong and I'm sure it's not being hurt in any way. Think about it, frogs in the wild have to jump huge distances. If they didn't evolve to take a beating, they'd be fucked. So I'm sure that him poking it and scooping it up like that isn't hurting it or anything. Stop freaking out. He's a professional.

Yea, youre really treating them like shit. Theyve got really fragil bodies and youre just grabbing them by a leg or poking them in the eyes. Not cool. My red-eyed tree frogs are 9 years old now and look very healthy so I now how to handle them and I can tell that youre doing it very wrong.

Lol people are acting like he is not a trained professional. Like we act like somehow a bunch of Karens in the comment section sitting on their couch know more than someone who studies them. Believe it or not these frogs are sturdy. They can fall 100s of feet In the air and be fine. It’s just when you add non natural chemicals or heat to the mix do they crumble.
