@@Kanaju No worries. Enjoyed my entertainment so far with the new update. Never been more excited to return yet again to No Man's Sky. I literally feel like I have repeated myself more with that statement every time a new update comes out with this game. Give it like a couple of weeks more and I will burn out... now I think about it. Might be a lot longer than my sassy sleep deprived brain thought. I like the ads that you have made bro. I play as a black and green Gek. 😅

@tctt185_dg they always get me back playing for a good while. But the one thing I really want, is own spacestations, so you can build them like the ships and deploy them in empty systems to make them livable. Choosing the ressources you go for and maybe even which race you want to have th3re.

Yeah just hang out in that station, hop in and out your ship and reload the save every now and then, it will come back. If you are lucky its a first-wave and will come in every time you restart, you can wait for one with better stats and cargo space. Or post up at a trade station planet-side. Ships come and go way quicker at a trade post so you can maximize your ship hunt odds. Especially in Pirate systems. S class ships tend to spawn more frequently at trade posts in pirate systems. And you will see more Solar models than what stops in the space station.

I understood that last part, Frigate commanders, instead of themselves, will send their first lieutenants to go to your Freighter. If you have a large enough "technology" room, (scanner, trade terminal, fleet nav rooms, appearance customizer, and just general technology room expansions) they'll be among the NPCs wandering about the open area.

I actually redid my freighter base and I even noticed that as well. I got a bunch of folks wandering my base and it makes the freighter feel so much more lively.

When on space stations, there are numerous containers and servers that are not properly locked down that you can gain units from. You can pick them out by having red lights rather than blue lights. It's a tiny amount, but every little bit can count when you need some cash.

Sounds like you don't know, so: Condensed Stellar Ice, a Space Encounter, also awards Quicksilver a lot of the time. If you find a system that has this space encounter then it's a great way to grind loads of Quicksilver.

Have they upped the payout? If its like a grand per encounter then thats totally worth the time. However... you can just spend quicksilver, gift a player something and reload, and you get the stuff and all the quicksilver back.

I'm praying on a future update, they'll allow players to have access to owning their own space stations. And from there to utilize the codes that they have from Base building on Freighters towards these commandeered space stations. When I first entered the renovated space stations, they had removed the side rooms. I was very disappointed in that. However, I hope they will allow players to commandeer these stations so that the players can build their own rooms. That would be fantastic! I would also, love to see in the future updates, that they would use the codes from displaying exercise towards feeding stations for companions. Cuz sometimes, we like to show off our extended families two other players. And getting some more Emoji cons added to the Quiksilver store would be cool too.

Being able to swap ships inside the stations is game changing for ship scrappers. The free goodies from the guild at every stop is nice too. And the space stations look so amazing... I went back and watched early NMS vids and holy crap, have they ever stepped it up. Its a pretty unlikely hope... but I hope HG upgrades settlement appearance now too. And Derelict Freighters. I have been meaning to go back on my PS4 to see how unplayable it is now 😂 cus before all these high-detail graphical updates and changes... it looked like pixelated jittery hell 😂😂😂.

I'm on PS5 but mostly stick to the PS4 version of the game cause I love to play it on VR, and I haven't gotten the new headset yet. Even with the SSD, the PS4 game barely loads any textures compared to the PS5 app, it just isn't optimized very well. It performs better on VR, but outside of it everything looks like it's made out of play dough.

I'm starting to really get the hang of base building. One needs to learn to use other items/objects to align items or for spacing out. The table when downscaled, makes a perfect custom staircase and you can easily stack them on the half edge. The flat table is probably the most versatile panel. I hope they add more items in the future. A lot of kudos to the UI designer.

I think it would be VERY cool if they introduced more derelict freighter stuff to the frigates would be cool! Like for example, the captain of a frigate sends a distress signal, yiu investigate, and the ship has been taken over by pirates! you now havr to evacuate the remaining crew to a new freighter for be extraction.

Once I understood and learned how to use the Trade Routes, I am always using it. I had my frigate expedition contact me twice. Once they asked me to come help them in battle, and the other to ask me for advice on how to proceed. I missed that it was noted in the expedition notes I will have to pay attention to see that. They also have come to help me in a battle I encounter usually a freighter battle, but 1 time also when I was doing a guild pirate sequence destruction quest.

Wow. I had no idea about the frigate update. That's awesome! Should have probably read the patch notes but I kind of like being pleasantly surprised by new experiences in NMS. I got this game when it dropped but left it for a considerable time after it got very monotonous. Went back off and on but have been heavily back into it since the Leviathan Expedition. It is absolutely unrecognizable from it's origin. So good.

Very good changes. The swapping of the ship on the station is huge for me as I like to scrap ships. It would ne nice if they added a more robust navigation to come back to places. Only thing I found that really works is building a dummy base. Those craftable beacons should be in a list in your menu linked to the planet and system details and they should be available in the teleporter and galaxy for selecting a location.. In particular the galaxy map is hard to use.

Hey Kanaju! I found an old style space station (as in the first gen) that was all wrecked and greeted me with “we?come home??” Do you have any info? There were no active traders or questline waypoints onboard, and only an active teleporter and trade terminal. Overall just Erie being in a rundown-looking first gen space station

Actually, the frigate deployment to help you in battle feature is quite old. I don't remember which ver. introduced it, but it's definitely not new and not specific to pirate frigates. It's also very useless (just like your squadron), since it can't actually hit any target. Galactic map marking of frigates is also old. You can even find them lingering around that particular system, if you go there.

The faction bonuses have been great. I did kinda shoot myself in the foot in that regard, though. I wanted to hit max outlaw rep level for those higher level bounty missions, which led to me terrorizing a Korvax system. The Korvax freighter fleets suffered while my pockets got full of black market goods and frigate modules. So while my rep with Vykeen and Gek is maxed, my rep with the Korvax is at a comfortable -400. I'm just too lazy to go fix it

I was at a space station then I opened my inventory and I don’t know if this is rare but I saw my inventory background with green, purple and red pixels that created a 22 and the rest I couldn’t figure out, I tried looking it up on the internet but I couldn’t find anything, so I decided to post it here, I dunno if it is rare or just a visual glitch, the other thing I saw in that screen was a green píxeles triangle that kinda looked like a half atlas station but I dunno.

You really designed those ads? Very nice. I noticed markers on the port and starboard sides leaving the space station increase in value of the closer you get to the exit. Is that yours too?

Neat list. Some items are purely cometic - shinny floor comes to mind. Its a toss up between two things as to which one is my favourite useless new things. One the glow when you pick up a plant from the biological section of the freighter - it sparkles. Two HG recoloured on of the ferrite minerals a reddish-brown - more realistic but after almost a decade irrelevant. Now after they did their latest tweaks I had to spend a lot of time going from one base to another and retaking the base picture for all the bases as they defaulted to the base icon or duplicated the image of the last base in that save that I had uploaded. My challenge to HG is make sure that all players can have base pictures for the teleport ring - some saddle still do not - and undo whatever feature there is that resets the pictures when you do an update. It will be overlooked, I promise you, except by a few of us who will be happy not to go through two dozen bases and retake base pictures.

I think surges are more lucrative than raiding fleets in outlaw systems now. Instead of just buying from space stations, you can also use the economy scanner to find a trade outpost and buy even more of the goods for cheaper, then when you're done, you sell everything at a trade outpost in the surging system. I managed to get 100M in 3 hours that way.

to this day it has no real syncs multiplayer where every player in your group shares everything they experience with others in the group, even when they are at the exact same spot and look in the same direction.

I was in a System found years ago by a player. only one planet is surveyed by another player. During my exploring of an unexplored planet I found a player base.... Do not trust hello games.

they just need to keep on adding NEW resources and rewards, new aliens, new things to forage, scan for treasure, overhaul procedural variation to crystals, alien flora, exocrafts, new planets, not the same planets that have the same resources on them, even though the planet is different I want the resources to be different too. They add all this new stuff but its the same rewards.

I wish they would make the backgrounds in all systems much darker. Completely black for about 75% of them. And very very dark colored backgrounds for the rest. It just looks auper weird having a bright colored background in space to me.

Nothing new that made me want to play the game any longer than looking at the new eye candy. Need a complete revamp of guild missions, player economy, PVP player guild battles would be awesome. Player guilds... for previously mentioned battles.
