I just quit NMS because I got so frustrated with the game overall. Technical issues, the endless grinding, and the fact that I had to go out of game to find ANY information about gameplay. It always felt like there is something crucial that I was missing as the payoffs seemed too minor initially. Outside the game there is a lot of information that would have saved me countless hours, but that shouldn't be necessary. Frustrating. The game sells itself as an adventure at the frontiers of space. In reality, space felt completely occupied, if sparsely. I felt like a guy with a flat tire by the side of highway as ships constantly screamed overhead. So many mechanics that seem half-baked. Opportunities missed. It would nodoubt be better with a newer display card. Inventory and ship component status never seemed to stay up to date. Space combat very basic 2.5D. Anyway, on an extended break. Hope the new stuff is great.

Worlds1 updated atmospheric generation and added floating islands, both of which were absolutely necessary for Gas Giants. It can't be a coincidence that Worlds2 is using a 🪐 emoji. If it were just generic planet generation, why not just use another earth emoji?

My scariest encounter was an anomaly detector event that had me transition back to normal for a giant mammoth skull with a gaping maw to pop into view. I swear it must've been some primal predator aversion that fueled my shock, but that nearly knocked me out of my chair.

I still think they should make it to where you can go into an empty system and then send resources using something like trade rocket to build a space station and depending on your race depends on what race has it

Normally I would agree with the larger updates being in the summer but the thing is this was originally going to be released in the summer of last year by my understanding. Could be a lot bigger than people are realizing.

kinda think it will be worlds part 2, simply because we should have already had that by now as it was slated for summer release then changed after patches came out. So I'm hoping this is a block buster blow your socks off release. Sean still has yet to release the kracken err the GIB so I don't know and it's odd for him to post emoji with an expedition still running.

I just need them to pleeeease increase planet depth. Depth? Yeah, I'll go with that. I'm playing right now and I'm on a planet with a rare underground creature but the planet has no depth to it. Every cave almost immediately hits the world limit. Also, I'll take any freighter updates. Freighters and their frigate fleets are my favorite part of the game.

I hope they change the sentinels as being a enemy to everyone instead of each individual player Example if I’m on the planet with my friend and I shut down the sentinel they should not have to shut that sentinel because they already shut down Better if we battle together and take down the sentinels
