I’ve been to Barbados several times, and every visit leaves me in awe. The locals are incredibly laid-back and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The island itself is a tropical paradise-absolutely stunning. The beaches are out of this world; the sand is as soft and fine as baby powder, a dream to walk on. And the water? It’s crystal-clear and breathtaking, exactly like what you see in the travel brochures-spot on, 100%. Every moment there feels like stepping into a postcard.

I don't want to be negative, but i live in Barbados, and it is NOT a place to move too. ✊🏿America needs to be honest with itself, the founding fathers never envisioned a diverse nation where people lived in racial harmony. They just wanted to get away from England and its Monarchy rules, they wanted a Europe in America minus a King's foot on their necks. If you dont believe me go to the Naturalization act of 1790 by the first U.S. President and first U.S. Congress and look at the only people allowed to become U.S. Citizens. This stayed law until the 14th ammendment in 1868, an admendment Trump has vowed to get rid of when he takes office. The goal has always been a homegenous country of Europeans. Even Abraham Lincoln said in 1862 to free people of African descent in the northern states, when slavery is over European Americans will never see you as equals, and he also said that all people of African descent should leave America for their own good and those of his own race. Lincoln said to those who did not want to leave, that even the people on his side would not want them to stay if their whole population was free! They dont teach this in school but Lincoln writings are availble for all to see. It gave me a more pessimitic view of things because we have been living a lie so long! Every man made attempt to alter inequality for minorities like DEI/Affirmitive action have only created problems, (as Lincoln Forewarned), and or false preceptions, because the majority will not cede benefits/priveliges of being in a majority status! Trump is only doing the will of the forefathers, we as minorities need to accept our place in this society, by abandoning this futile goal of equality, or take Lincoln's advice and leave for nations we are the majority!

They launched the year of return in 2019 for African American only who could prove that their DNA was linked to Ghana. A lot of African American who moved to Ghana during that time had to come back after 6 months due to several issues. One of them was it was not easy to get a free permanent resident. Second, they run out of money due to the high cost of living in Accra with very little job opportunities. You AI are missing a lot of facts

The USA is a great place for black people to live. The USA was built on the back breaking slave labor of our ancestors. Let it not be in vain. This country is ours as much as it is any other Americans. Stay and appreciate it. Stay and cherish the freedom your ancestors fought for and you continue to fight for. Appreciate the principles of the Constitution that our country was founded upon.

@peggylovell7910 The article is about residency in other countries for Blacks born in the USA. We already have free residency. As though we're going to run some place to avoid the incoming hunta. We have earned the right to be citizens of THIS country. Our ancestors paid through slavery and lynchings, Many of us paid through Jim Crow, Segregation, Civil Rights and Military Service. Unless it's for investments or a retirement option, The USA is our OPTION to leave, We're more "American" than many of the MAGA hoard.

Affordability is one of many relocation criteria in making an assessment. Amenities, state of technology, (I’m in Portugal 4/5 months a year, although it’s beautiful the 1980s style bureaucracy and circa 2000 technology requires utmost patience as a “spoiled American”), cultural opportunities/life, cost of living, transportation system, geographical location (Paraguay is landlocked although with major rivers, but I need to be near an ocean 😊), political stability, etc. are other criteria in addition to what you have mentioned. I would visit Paraguay though.
