Yup! I started out with pinball sims on my tablet last year and upgraded to a real pinball machine in my basement this past February... it feels SOOOOOOO different, I've been practicing all my shots and bumps and will be entering some tournaments locally later this summer

You might be surprised how many pins are on location www.pinballmap.com/ (and there are a lot of places with pins not listed on this site). No it is nothing like when I was a kid when there were stand alone arcades, now most are full of redemption games. Barcades are where you find large quantities of pins in 1 location. There are pinball leagues and tournaments all over the place also. Pinball is not dead, just not as main stream as it used to be. The IFPA was started just over 10 yrs ago for ranking pinball players and has a very big following.

I was thinking the same thing and decided to look and found one an hour from me in Florida. Was a guy's personal collection who decided to open it to the public. 13 dollars for all day admittance. He had every classic that I remember and many new tables as well. Really cool. Never heard of a jersey Mike table but wizard of Oz numbered to 1000 was the and it looked and played great, it really stood out among the other new tables. Problem is replacement parts, some of the machines there are only a handful of machines to get old parts for.

There's at least 40 places I know of here in Pittsburgh that have pinball machines, we even have a few pinball arcades. So they still definitely exist all over the place.
