@tincredible5 жыл бұрын
@@R488-u7q The ACT is based on the average of the section scores, not the sum of the section scores. If your statement were true, that would mean that he'd only have needed a 9 or 10 in each of the four sections. We know he had to make higher than that, as that would have given him an average score of only 9 or 10. The ACT isn't scored like the SAT. The SAT is the one that bases your score on the SUM of your section scores. The narrator is simply wrong. Also, in Rose's time (my era), student-athletes only needed an 18 to get into most state schools. I'm not sure what it is these days; nevertheless, the narrator is wrong.

It's the sum score, meaning all your 4 different scores added up. There is a max of 36 in each section (Math, English, Science, Reading), and then they average the score. So to get a 37, you need to get a 9.25 on each section. That is BARELY better that a 25%. So guess 'B' on every answer and you may get lucky haha.

@@johnnyveiga9 Yea i thought of that too. I think because of social media and such they wouldn't let that happen today. I guess the kid didn't know who is father was until he was like 13 and the Kid ended up making to the NFL but only played 40 games. Without help thats hard to do but if Karl was around he could have helped his kid become even better.

@@tonysobon4669 I never liked the Jazz or Malone (just as a fan) but I always thought of Malone as a great player and a good guy.. I had never heard anything negative about him, I had only heard positives. Well sh*t, this completely changes everything. I have a 14 year old son and if a man were to get one of his female friends pregnant? There are no words for how disgusting that is. He shouldn't be in the HOF. I don't care that he is a HOF player for his play on the court, he's a scumbag.

Dont Read my Profile Picture lots of athletes do it in inner city schools. I went to one and played football, and in the locker room guys would talk about it all the time. Even the coaches were helping the best athletes cheat. I didn't have a future in the athletic world, so I had to quit and study my ass off. But from what I heave witnessed, it is almost an unspoken rule among coaches to do whatever necessary to make sure athletes with futures pass their tests.

Regarding cheating on SAT, I know a few people who not only cheated on SAT, but also cheated on a LSAT (exam to get into law school). The LSAT the guy basically was going to first get someone else to go in for him, but then right before exam he managed to find the test giver and basically manipulated into getting the test before the exam. As a result, him and his gf and a few other people he helped out throughout the years all got into law school with a perfect LSAT score and were basically getting paid to attend and live in apartments for fancy elite law schools. And by the way, the same guy became the best lawyer you could find. Mostly because he just always finds loopholes he can use to better his case or manipulates someone to help the case
