Fit Men Cook No chocolate?! 🍫 A chunky monkey is always needed on a list like this 😉. But I'll admit that all of these sounds delicious. I must say I am pretty basic with my smoothie recipes. I like what I like and stick with it. Kale, mixed spring greens, and spinach are staples. I always opt to include 85 g (or whatever the serving size is so I get the most out of my drink). Vegan mocha or chocolate protein powder (sunwarrior blend) for added protein or small curd cottage cheese. A little powdered peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1/2 a frozen banana. If I have a date or a few raw cashews on hand I will throw those in as well. This serves as a post workout or meal replacement (when using cottage cheese). If I have it as a meal replacement, I will eat a bag of sunshine as I call it. This usually includes the fruit of the week, whatever fruit I pick up for meal prep, (i.e. grapes, peaches, jicama, etc.), a raw veggie (i.e. zucchini, bell peppers), and a surprise ingredient (something I enjoy eating but really purchase). This week it was golden berries. They are incredibly sour but paired well with the grapes and unripened peaches I cut up. Good luck everyone!

I just discovered your channel yesterday, and you've already become my favorite fitness/healthy-eating KZbinr: you cut to the chase (instead of spending 4 minutes rambling at the beginning), you have an awesome personality, and your recipes are bomb. I keep watching your videos and collecting ingredients to make some of these meals (most have worked out great, btw). I didn't really consider the smoothie challenge until I watched the video....back to the grocery store. Honestly, I love your channel!

these look so good would you recommend them for someone who is diabetic or watching their sugar levels what do you suggest is the best time of the day to drink them for a diabetic? in the morning? after a workout? meal replacement? etc

I've done Harley PAsternaks plan before and that starts at 3 shakes per day, but I was full because they were like 500 calorie shakes at each meal. Overall, I liked it and it got my blood sugar under control.

Kevin, you have no idea how much I've been blowing up your channel to friends. I hope you see a lot more purchases and subscribers to your work. You deserve it man. I never thought ccheese would be good in a Smoothie but I was truly wrong you don't even taste the cc I started useing it about 4 months ago

Would you suggest coconut water over tap or is there no significant difference? Also, recommendation for a quality blender that won't break the bank? Can't convince myself $400+ on a blender is a "good investment"

Chelsea Raley I have a Nutri Ninja and I absolutely love it. It wasn't $400, more so $250-$300. It is definitely worth the investment, especially when you get the different accessories. It easily turns into a food processor and spiralizer, with the additional pieces. Hope you find a good one!

Question number one, you mean we have this smoothie as snack or instead of a meal challenge??!🤗 Anddd my most important question, I hope you say yes :D Do you have by any chance any meal plans for like a week? Farah Ghandour you should still eat food. He said at the beginning it's a good in between snack or post work out. One of them he said was a good meal replacement. As far as meal plans just go to his playlist and select from the categories and make a meal plan. I select 6 every Sunday morning: breakfast, 2 snacks, lunch, and dinner. I make them in bulk and eat them through the week and then make a new list the following Sunday. I already have a few personal favorites that I repeat or swap out just because it's that good. I highly suggest buying his app. It's worth it, user-friendly, I've been doing demos of his stuff on my Snapchat and encouraging my followers to check out his app. It will open up the world of food to you, save you money, time, and counting your macros.

I'm not sure the dab helped ;) I think you've been peeping in my kitchen window again, cause I've been doing smoothies but have been feeling less than inspired. Would love to hear how much dried turmeric you'd suggest as a substitute for fresh- or if I should really just spring for a knob of the fresh stuff.

unless you're going to be using the dried in other recipes, id just get a small piece of turmeric - only a few cents. this is an "experiment" so def try it fresh
