Wow! I have spent months in the area on my sailboat. It is absolutely stunning. Thank you for a video that makes me consider some on foot exposure to the area! Your contribution, (film) will live on for ever. Please know how meaningful that is! Keep up the good work. I will catch up on all your stuff.

My word your footage and films just get better and better every one, I actually love what you do so much man, can't thank you enough. I've scanned many many times over these maps in satellite with more questions then answers on what it might be like out there. You always paint the best picture! Your ability to nail the epic drone focus shots of the trips. Like that glacier is so beautiful, those peaks look like no where I've saw yet and I've lived in BC my whole life. The second focus on the glacier has an eerie feeling of sadness with how rapidly these places are changing, which again just makes me so grateful for you to bring us along ❤️

I've been looking for a video hike with this type of scenery in the Coast Mountains. This is one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever seen. Right up there with Peru's Huayhuash and that is saying a lot. Huge mountains.

It is definitely gorgeous, thanks John!

I searched it out and Mt Jacobsen is actually one of the very few mountains of the Coast Range that approaches 10 000 feet outside of the Waddington Range. I have seldom seen such spectacular glaciers in other mountains.
@lifeofluke4 ай бұрын
Yeah Mt Jacobsen truly is a stunner! It's jaw dropping to see it in person, this video doesn't do it justice.

Just curious.. obviously bear spray is a must have but wondering if carrying a rifle for added protection is recommended, another must have and if that is even legal? Bear/ cougar encounters really scare me enough to never venture to places i would love to see… great video, absolutley beautiful… 😀
@lifeofluke5 ай бұрын
Bear spray would suffice, although I know there are some that like to have the extra protection of a rifle -- only as a last resort because shooting grizzly bears is illegal in BC. There are also many good practices that avoid having any issues with bears, like keeping all food scents away from your tent and in scent proof bags.

Hey there, kind thks for the quick reply….. Doing the inside passage from Campbell River to Prince Rupert… leaving July 15th and plan on arriving in PR around mid September ( 36’ Trawler). Obviously taking our good ‘ol time which leaves plenty of opportunities to explore which is the whole point….. might start a channel to document our journey… thks again. ☮️🇨🇦☮️
