Grace, I remember you did a video a while back that was something like ‘eating Korean food for a day’ (or something along those lines). You should do another one of those but with Iraqi/Arab food! I’m not sure if you’ve tried much food from that region (aside from hummus lol) but we have so many great cultural dishes so thought you might like to try it if you still like doing those kinds of videos. 😊

Arab food is soo diverse! Dolma (warq einb), Mousakka, and Baba Ganoush are great options and vegetarian. I'm honestly curious how someone who isn't used to these dishes, especially Dolma, would find them haha. Also it's not unusual that these dished are made with a bit of variation.

GraceWaterlilly I’m veggie too and there’s loads of options! (Sorry Grace, bit of self promo - I have a few recipes on my channel) but you’ll find loads of stuff just online. As someone else commented, baba ganouj and mousaka are great options. But we also have a lot of “stews” that are easily made veggie just by leaving out the meat, like spinach stew, green bean stew, etc. A few of my other faves are biryani, za’tar mana’esh (za’tar flatbread), and tepsi betinjan which is basically and aubergine bake. Hope these suggestions help!

So I don't normally comment but I just wanted to say, that I had an ED and have been in recovery for about a year and a bit now and honestly, these videos have helped me so much too! It can be a real challenge to normalise food, but the freedom it gives you is amazing!!! Seeing Grace just eat what she wants when she wants with so much intuition, its awesome! If ya need a chat about recovery, I'm happy to help out. But keep going on this journey! Its so so so so worth it!!!!

chuggedmilk basically they got outed for being very racist and not paying their bipoc workers at all/enough compared to their white counterparts for video appearances. basically sohla, priya, rick, gaby and christina were all affected with sohla and priya being the most vocal. i believe the first 3 left bon appetit but are still with the magazine, gaby is still manager but no more videos. molly also pledged to not work on videos till people get equal pay, but everyone else hasn’t really been vocal about what they are doing (chris, brad, claire, carla, andy, delaney, with chris being the most quiet about this and the only one with no post of solidarity). also delaney got into another scandal about racist comments in an old tumblr, as well as rapoport’s brownface (as a hispanic person) photos being dug up, leading to him quitting. A lot basically!

Grace I am from Egypt and we have a dish called "Kushari". It's vegetarian and really fills u up. It's got rice, noodles, lentils, chickpeas, and fried onions with a garlicky tomato sauce on top.
