Very old fashioned shelter. Kind of Old English, like King Alfred's fighting the Danes kind of Anglo-Saxon house, known as "wattle and dob" I believe. Though they might have used a thatch roof. Don't know for certain, though, a bit before my time. Looks like good work. Thanks for sharing.

DIG DOWN ,, so you can stand up into it and make it longer and you could actually live there. If there was a river you could actually live there and you know the sides of the walls right you just get longer logs and make them whiter, like put it sideways on the roof to the top and not straight down. It gives you more room you could actually live there. Please say there’s a river with fish in it so that you could live there and just keep on adding onto it and add a lot of plastic and add a lot of mud and rocks so that you could have a real house there.❤

So many folks put there camp on the other side. It is usually wet and windward. Trees generally fall from prevailing winds and moist roots. There is better building material on the stump side. Stronger more weatherproof possibilities.

Возможности отличные. Но. Я бы подпëр лесины и отпилил верхушки. Живую ель не использовал, ветер обязательно разрушит крышу. И если уж использовал, то как вытяжку. Подобно вытяжке в чуме народов Севера. А значит тогда нужна двухскатная крыша и камин у ствола ели. Завидую автору. Кто то написал мол пса не накормил, да накормил, просто не снял. А я не спал бы, пока не достроил. Уважаю и завидую людям с мечтой и хорошими руками...
