Nick ur temper and reflexes are amazing! U can see how the other guy began to get to much copium he even say 5:35 “U want a traditional fight”. There’s no traditional fight, less say when facing a martial artist as You. Thank you 🙏🏻

Sorry. So offended by this guy that I read your sarcasm with the same choke back puke attitude that I gave the last 90% of the vid.

2:56 ⚠️PERFECT THROAT JAB WARNING! 😂lol “In all my years in the arts I’ve never seen anybody use the BUI GEE that effectively. I do the EXACT SAME THING. 🤝💥

3:40 I wanna share my codex with you. I’ve shared it with a couple close industry friends. I don’t think they payed attention though. So for NICK DROSSOS fans, here it is. On a right handed guy don’t stand southpaw. Face in. Right hand in back on a right hander. 1. “Right hand” (THE STRONG FINGER JAB YOU WERE USING) STRIKE THROUGH THE WRIST 2. STRIKE OVER THE ELBOW “left hand” (moving left) twist slightly to the right while moving left. 3. VERTICAL FIST (right hand) from his blind side. His two arms are behind him now and he’s hit. ❤ That works on both sides both stances. The other way is to 1. USE THE STRONG FINGER JAB OVER THE WRIST OR THROUGH IT. 2. USE THE FRONT LEFT HAND TO FIRE A VERTICAL FIST RIGHT OVER THE TOP OF YOUR BUI GEE FINGER JAB that swept in next to his arm or just over the forearm bridge. Abandon the first strike once it reaches near the face. 3. USE IT AS A FIRING PLATFORM to shoot the vertical fist from SHORT RANGE. 1-2 FINGER/HAMMER. ❤

Hi Nick that throat jab Is a old martial arts Move. But applied slightly differently. You hook 2 or three fingers into the cavity Your jabbing at and hook/push down. Needless to say regardless of size Its good night for the attacker. Ps I rate you style Ive watched your other self defence techniques and think their the best ive ever come across. I'm practicing some Been into Kung Fu Karate & Kickboxing Bodybuilding for over 30 years. Keep up the good work bro. Respect.

Hey Nick. What do you think of the Straight Blast? Does it look like it could be effective in a self defense situation? Some good self defense instructors like Paul Vunak and Jason Hanson teach that but I feel skeptical about its effectiveness.

Love your videos Nick. I've learned so much from you content. I have a a question that has nothing to do with this particular video. If put in a defense situation I would use what you teach, however, put in a defense situation I can be a violent and I'm not scared to die. Is that an advantage or a disadvantage in a self defense situation?

There is much more you can do but attacking the Throat , kneck also the back side of the kneck . knees / ankles would be always a good idea to stop the oponent . The bigger and heavier he might be the more difficult to keep Balance to him . in case when his legs ware damaged during the fight he will be not able to fight back so easy and fast like at the beginning of the battle . I would never using any kind of haymaker type of punches instead of this i would go for upercuts and generaly techniques which are not so good visible to the opponent ( i mean every technique using from below unlike the standard punches would be difficult to block ). But in case of this particular situation you can also grab his arm from below and pull your elbow towards the wall (the head of this oponent will follow the direction )after that you suppose to stay behind him so that you are able to stomp on his ankles kicking in the Knee section from the side would make them slower as well .

What about striking the collar bone?
@KenkadeLinden Жыл бұрын
As a black belt, I will say the collar bone is pretty weak. Even a hammer fist there COULD theoretically break that shit

Way more effective if you get it knuckle first

Sorry but with this size differential and distance -Knife. A little blood makes a difference. That's why weapons were invented
@kaitosevski38812 жыл бұрын
That's a good way to end up in prison. Pulling a knife out and murdering someone in the middle of an unarmed altercation is illegal basically everywhere And a lot of the time, people don't even realize they've been stabbed until after the fights over
@OldBadger12 жыл бұрын
@@kaitosevski3881 I am talking about survival, not legal consequences. I am well aware of them I even give lectures on the subject. Where I live it is actually better to shoot than to use a knife. As for your observation,If anyone with decent knife training uses a blade, you will know about it, very quickly. I have been around the fighting arts world most of my life. Yes I have seen small guys best big guys. Always with incredible aggression and some fighting skills. I am talking about biting off a guys eyebrow and spitting it in the big guys face., etc. How many people are capable of doing that? If you are small, hit first, hit hard, get out. If you are under attack? Weapons are probably your only option to getting stomped.
@Ffollies2 жыл бұрын
@@kaitosevski3881 Just because your assailant is unarmed doesn't mean you can't pull out a weapon in self defense. There are a lot of variables that factor into any legal consequences. Every place has their own laws but in the U.S. I've heard of cases where an unarmed aggressor was killed or wounded by someone with a weapon (gun, knife, etc.) and was cleared of any wrong doing.

I don’t get it. His arm is longer than yours, how the f$&@ do you reach his face with yours? Ok, now the predator is going offer up his testicles? Wtf? F-in movie fighting? The vid starts in a position, and offers not one effective thing. There are things that might work, but they ain’t here. I don’t see a single thread of sense. If all you have is what he gave you, make peace with no teeth. “Your reflexes are amazing 😘“ (a comment below). Wtf?! So every blow has to count, and you gotta be truly mean. And he says is it at 1, when you’ll be lucky if it works at 9! Wow, the JC of sel-defense. I watch movies when I desire complete combat nonsense.
