Have seen folks talk about tributes often, but not one streamer has given tips on where to farm them. Still wanting to know…

If you look at the bottom of any tribute you have it tells you where to get them. They drop from most of the events like Helltides, NMDs, the Pit, Bossing, and the rarest come from whispers and world bosses.

One key thing, IMO, is even if you reach level 4 it is still worth exploring the entire map quickly, if you can, looking for goblins as they add another chest

I haven't seen very many goblins. Maybe like one run in ten. That's definitely something to consider.

​@@OwnModeGamingso i did 50 runs and in that 50 runs i had 19 Goblins. Sometimes they hide in small passages or idk Spawn after i enter that.

@@Nick-ob9mj That sucks on the boss runs. That reminds me of the season where I was blasting bosses for days and saw nothing. I then took my wife through 3 runs and she dropped a mythic (uber unique at the time) I saw one that season and she ended up with 2 in less than 30 runs.

To clear up some confusion that I think could be created from this video, there is a tribute not shown here that gives ancestral uniques (Tribute of Ascendance - it is silver in color like uniques, rather than the orange) - this is the tribute that can generate mythics, not the legendary one. Any unique can become a mythic unique, legendaries cannot generate mythic uniques, so just don't want people to be running the legendary tribute and wonder why uniques aren't dropping, it's a different (much rarer) tribute.

Its also worth noting that there are two types of Legendary and Ancestral tributes. U can see the types in the description, for ex. (Resolute) type, like in this video, only applies to you and not the rest of the group. The other type does apply to the entire group. So if youre running w a friend dont use the Resolute type unless youre just needing help. My friend helped me w my first Ancestral tribute and only got one single plain legendary; basically a waste of time for him.

Questions: - 1. Whats the recommended level for my glyphs before switching to Torment 4? 2. Should I wait until all of my gears are Ancenstral before switching to Tier 4?

It is sadly dependent on the build. What I would do is aim to have all glyphs installed and leveled to 15. Next, I would farm to get most gear to Ancestral. I may forgo Ancestral for key uniques but at least make sure they are at 750. I would also complete masterworking to level 8 on all gear. Once I had the gear and level 15 gyphs; I would keep leveling my most important glyph to 45 while i keep pushing to higher levels of the pit. If you can clear to around lvl 60, you should be able to eventually clear just by continuing to level your glyphs. Let me know if that help.

Are mythic items only in t4? I am back to the game after a break from the first season. My spirit born is following a quill volley build but I'm still t1. Don't want to waste the good tribute if I can't have a chance for the Purple level shako or weapon.

Do you have the expansion? You do need that to do the undercut. If you do, what torment level are you playing? The drop rate increases a lot as you move up the torment levels.

You have to do all of the sidequests that are about the spirit brazier

The legendary and unique tribute have higher drop chances in torment 4. But once the tribute is used does the torment level matter? That is torment 1 and 4 all reward the same?

I am not sure on the reward difference. I can check it out, but I ran most of my tributes when i made it to t4.

Thanks! Very helpful. But I'm now at paragon lvl 230 and haven't found a tribute yet. All questlines completed and zero tribute drop. A friend of mine has the same problem. Surely a bug!? do you heard anything about it?

is it worth merging magic runes? do they eventually turn yello and subsequently turn legendary ? it seems to be blue for ever..

The biggest value for the runes is the ability to use the jeweler to make a specific mythic unique. Pairing any 3 gets a random chance to make another rune and sometimes of a higher level. So, matching any 3 to get a chance to get 1 of the 3 I needed was worth it, because you need a quantity of 6 for each of the runes required to complete the recipe for the mythic I wanted.

Note. If you have the same problem that I do, do not use Suba as your mercenary because you will not be able to see the monsters to kill that increase your time.

The problem with the Legendary one, that only the person who used it in the party get the bonus which is very disappointing for group play.

I've been using this to grab summoning mats for tormented runs (doesn't seem as efficient as Helltides, but I like it), and sometimes it gives me two chests...what does that mean? Only one chest has the mats in it. Thanks!

The bonus chest happens if you find and kill a goblin during the run.

I think there is a quest that triggers the drops. Check your quests in the new area and see if anything is not complete.

imo there is no need to full clear the map as long as you have tier 2 reward before you enter the third floor you should be good

I wish they had a unique system and difficulty system like diablo 2. Why do we need 8 difficulties? Should be a casual difficulty where you can still find items(uniques) but they are litteraly the worst they can be. That way people who dont have time to invest can still get "cool" stuff. They also should reintroduce magic find. Bring back some chancegaurds. Make it a mythic unique and gives you say 100-200% better chance of finding ancestrals and uniques. Magic find was the number 1 aspect of diablo 2 and it was fun trying to maximize it to get gear for other characters.

I would have bought the VoH expansion if the main D4 campaign was any good. The main campaign has gotten worse. Blizzard has decreased the amount of monsters in the campaign. The first level of the Monestary is empty, as was the walk over there from Ked Bardu. 85% of gamers are solo players. What is the percentage that want a massive campaign? Get our priorities straight. The campaign is the game. Ask yourself why the campaign has gotten worse. The endgame is a Corporate Marketing Strategy for selling cosmetics. The game, the campaign, was deemed obsolete by the Sales Department that replaced the DEV department before it came on the market.
