You can use it on any project. When sewing round coasters just make sure not to stretch the binding so it lays nice and flat.

If you have two blocks side by side, can you use, say a half inch bias tape to join the two blocks? Thank you.

Yes, you can ☺️, but remember to use it on both sides to hide raw edges (unless there is a lining).
