I understood the basics of finishing the binding, but every single time, when it came time to put the two ends together to sew them, I'd get it twisted. Sometimes multiple times before I could get it right. Also frequently sewed it on the 'wrong' diagonal. This is the first video I've seen that explains so clearly how to *easily* avoid both mistakes. Thank you so much for this. Saved my sanity!

This video explains about the width of your binding. Other videos don't make it clear that the width of your binding is when it is folded completely out. I had 2 inch satin binding and cut it 2 inches likes other videos say to. This video shows that my 2 inch should be 4 inch allowance. Because when you fold it flat it is 4 inches not 2 inches! Thank you thank you for clearing it up. I already screwed up my blanket and am so frustrated. Got this video tagged as a favorite. Thanks again for clarity.
