I did the same, it's okay to have a comfort section within a section and prioritize it. But, don't neglect DI altogether. It should still be practised, you can just choose to pay less attention to it than LR. Think of it like a way to focus more on LR than DI.

As I haven't experienced them first-hand, I can't say how good they are. But, I would have focused more on the prep material that they offer than the coaching per se. Because that knowledge is more or less the same, what makes the difference is the mocks, the coaching material they offer.

Yes, definitely possible. I had a lot of batchmates who had studied math till 10th only. They were able to improve their CAT percentile in the Quants section with practice. Hey Maitreyi, the name of your undergrad college doesn't matter as such. Now, you may wonder then why do students from DU and IITs get the better opportunities at a B-school? This is because those institutes provide more opportunities to the students, which in turn, improves their CV. I had a batchmate at IIM-A from a non-DU non-IIT college, he was a 100 percentiler, in top 20, interned in a top finance firm, finally joining a top consulting firm. All this because despite whatever opportunities he got, he worked hard to add them to his CV. So, it's entirely dependent on what you make of the opportunities. If your UG college doesn't provide those opportunities, you just have to fight harder, that's all about it.
