I agree with Dans comment below and maybe others that I didn't see. "You could add a secondary switch on the island that turns the lights on and off and leave the wall switch on all the time to energize the water filter." Or you can jumper the switch on the wall so that it never shuts power off to the island. Thank you Nathan and Marissa for another awesome video. Really interested how that Ebike rack holds up and how long the water filter lasts and how well it works for you.

@@LessJunkMoreJourney, You are welcome. Love your RV/House. You have alot of neat DIY projects. Take care and enjoy your lives. Love watching your travel. I heard Hawaii has requested that people not come for a while so they can get this virus under control. It is a good thing you all went when you did, and your videos of Hawaii were very awsome. I have been to Oahu, twice, the second time just before my Senior Year of College, and we went to the big Island that time as well as Oahu. We did see the Vulcano Park but it was cloudy. Glad you had the opportunity to spend time in the Aloha State, before they had to close down for the virus and its nasty variant. And I am glad that Hensley is being Home Schooled, because with that variant, and that there isn't a vaccine for those under 12 yet, I would feel she is better off being home schooled. Especially with the battle of the masks wearing of kids. Hensley and JJ are so cute. Hope you all are safe from the virus.

QUESTIONS: Love the channel, btw. #1 - The Acuva. Why this particular system instead of a Berkey? I know it takes up counter space, but … SUPER EASY to use and maintain. Filters last a long time and the level of filtration includes bacteria, etc. The other benefit, NO ELECTRIC source needed. #2 - I’ve been battling constant replacement of the stupid drawer catches that are plastic and break incessantly. I’ve installed a magnetic catch (supposedly 60lb), but is really not super strong. Any tips from you or anyone else reading this would be mucho bueno!! Anyway, inquiring minds want to know! The ebike in a tub under the RV is more secure than on a trailer hitch outside. If you ever watch the Lock Picking Lawyer, no lock is really secure. Plus pulling a cotter pin out of that hitch wouldn't be all that hard. Maybe a pull out slide w bike mounts would be better?

I thought the same thing. I also follow the Liz Amazing YT channel; they are also full-time RV'ers. They have had three e-bikes stolen in a year. The last incident, both of their bikes were stolen. The police often could careless about stolen bikes and won't investigate your stolen bike. This last incident, the police chief did communicate with them and was going to really try to find the people that stole the bikes. He said they have a problem at RV camp grounds with 'rings' of thieves going to RV parks to steel valuable items that are not well secured. Some people think cameras will help; but, these type thieves don't care. They know most police departments don't spend much time on stolen bike investigations. Secure your valuables to the max is all I can say about keeping your valuables in your possession. How to keep your ebike safe: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5_Go4Z5r7eFr68 Is your ebike rack RV approved: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn66imlmo8-Fgrc Also, batteries should NEVER be left in the heat or below freezing cold for long periods of time. You will ruin your expensive battery if you do that. Also, do not allow your battery to go completely dead. It may not charge backup or not charge fully. Here's a video about care of ebike batteries (all ebiker's should view a video about battery care): kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYfGd6yqgb6Cf7M

@@lynfl9814 the first time Liz had her bike stolen she had a cheap cable lock that was easy to cut with a bolt cutter. The second time the didn't even have them locked. If you lock your bike with a good strong chain and heavy duty lock, the average thief won't even bother.

Some leave it on, some turn it on and off. Our friends only turn theirs on as needed. On your AC you might want to make sure your fan is on AUTO and not high or low. AUTO will let it come on and off with the compressor.

Yo! Again. Didn't work for us. The attachments won't sit flush or match together because we have bidets added onto the toilets. It's either bidet or convenient potty seat. We much rather be clean rather than potty chair convenience. : )

To keep the 'blue' light away, don't cover the license plate or the tail lights, with your bike rack and cover.
