My dad used to tell me that all the time when he used to make me pick up pennies to this day i still tell my kids that and we earned ourselves almost 500 dollars of pennies that people discard. So i live by that saying.

Those mirrors are the bomb!!!! The wreath is so classic - great for my front door almost year round/non-holiday! The beaded banners are brilliant for all year and I really love the huge bucket of beads. I kinda feel like we'd have fun crafting and drinking wine, LOL!!

Love the wreath! I hang them all around my house. Inside and out because I’ve lost 2 brothers over the years. They almost feel like they are both part of my home. My 86 year old mother said that way back people would hang a wreath on their door when the lost someone in the family.

I love the cross diy 😊Thrift stores are a great place to find old sheet music. I found a ton of vintage music that I Mod Podged together to make centerpiece mats for my daughter’s wedding reception..

I made a mirror almost exactly like this on my channel! I glued the mirror and blocks directly onto foam core board to make them more sturdy and painted the blocks with white chalk paint....Love your wreath! It is so pretty!

I work in a restaurant, one of the "hot sauces" we offer is Cholula. The bottle has a round wooden top. When the bottles are empty and being discarded I save the tops, clean them and use them in my DIY's, i.e. feet on a tray, coaster box, candle base, etc. I've also used them to give my project a 3-D effect (like when you might use a jenga block to give your project some dimension)

I love your attitude Megan! So laid back. So my opinion for what it’s worth: some Farmhouse can work in Boho, Modern Coastal, Shabby Chic & even Industrial decor styles. A piece here or there. Just so long as it’s overkill & not cluttered. My 2cents. I’m not a Farmhouse person, however, I like some pieces I see. I’m more a Boho style & like seeing more of those. Thanx for sharing!

The more I look at Instagram & see farmhouse home tours here on KZbin I'm starting to think farmhouse isn't really my style. Boho isn't totally it either though 🤷‍♀️ I like some aspects farmhouse like using older or repurposed pieces, wreaths and the light airy feel... but I love color, natural wood too. I don't like using standard words as decor like "gather" or "farmhouse". (except for seasonal decor like fall)
