I'm a florist so I do alot of artificial flower arrangements so I thought I would share a trick ,paint your foam balls green instead of black ,it will make your greenery go further.
@jayleehunter88374 жыл бұрын
Great tip! I am always curious why the foam is always painted black & not to match greenery?
@kimberlymaya88314 жыл бұрын
Maybe because black is cheaper and adds depth
@shirvernegriffin78764 жыл бұрын
Can you do one with the double topiary
@bonnienewkirk-rhoades60084 жыл бұрын
Just my 2 cents, I think she used black because she's using inexpensive materials & the .97 cent spray paint from Wal-Mart only comes in white or black. If she were to use the other inexpensive option it would be their paint-on acrylic that would probably peel off of the plastic ball. But yeah, definitely use green spray paint if you've got it.
@GlueGunsRoses4 жыл бұрын
I used black because some of the topiaries I have seen in stores have black bases and to save money like Bonnie said. Thank you for the tip ❤ I will definitely try using green one of these days! Much love to you all -Megan

I think you are saying the Topiary word correct. these DIY's are stunning it always amazes me even after working in retail for 19 years it still boggles my mind on how much of a profit big stores sell their items for when they buy these things for possibly the same price or cheaper because of where they are made which in most cases it is from India, China, Taiwan or other Asian countries where the labor is cheap too. while the big box stores executives get billions in revenue even after they have paid their employees and the companies where the items are shipped from and the shipping companies are paid. I love making things myself so i don't have to pay the hugh price tags they are asking for the same item. I love watching these DIY's and then make them myself. Thank you for sharing these pieces i love how they turned out. Great job.
@barbarat57294 жыл бұрын
I LOVE the fact that you say you'd rather be corrected than be left alone to look like an idiot! More to the point, this is one of the only videos I've seen with Dollar Tree/Store items that don't end up looking like Dollar Tree items. Really, really cute!

Very sweet ideas!! I make ladders out of my willows ( Grandkiddos named our tree, Mrs. Willow!💖), branches when they fall, I even add different branches and sticks from various trees I have, they make such super cute ladders!! Mother Nature gives us a lot of various items to craft with, which I’ve always been so grateful for my 57 years, my grandkiddos enjoy our crafting finding various gifts from our earth! I’m not into lemons either with decorating, ( love eating them!!), those ideas are so pretty however!! Thank you for your craft ideas, I’m going to do some for my outdoors!
