Uroboros forms can actually be good to Switch to if you are about to die and want to turn the tide or if you need to run away but don't want to take damage while running away.

I feel like this needs to be mentioned, the ouroboros have roles as well, it corresponds to whatever the base class was for the transformation, however eunie and taion are unable to resurrect people but the basic rule is still in place, the ouroboros tries to play similaraly to their base class I noticed, meaning lanz tries to take aggro and mio is a bit of a dodge tank, eunie and taion is the most obvious cause both of their base arts have area heals

Does fusion arts stack combos? If I deploy a break/topple fusion art, will it break and topple the enemy in one act?

Great video. One question, do Fusion Arts have any advantage over using the 2 arts it consist of separately, other than saving time and rising the interlink level?

I think the added benefit of the paired skills can make each skill better than they are on their own because their effects are combined, which causes multipliers and benefits of one to apply to the other as well. I am still testing some of it, and I could be wrong. I think it is almost always better to use fusion arts than to use the art and master art independently. Also, fusion arts have the ability to cancel into other arts (which cannot be done with normal arts until later in the game).

@@funisgaming thanks for the answer, yeah it'd be cool to know for sure if there is indeed an extra multipler when combined. I think similar to you in that i prefer fusion arts, except in specific circumstances as a defender when I need to generate aggro quickly to save a party member, or as healer when I quickly need to heal; save those instances I try to use the fusion arts. @@tony_0088 Happy to help! I agree that there are definitely circumstances to not wait for a fusion art like the ones you mentioned. I most often do it to continue a combo.

A bit late on this, but I just stumbled into this video today. One very useful thing you can do with fusion arts is pair buff and field arts with long animations with quick and basic attack arts. For example, Ogres have an art that increases attack power by I think 20 percent and makes attacks unblockable, but you have to watch the character lift illusion weights above their head for about 3 seconds. If you put that skill as a master art along with any keves basic attack art you can get the buff without the long animation for it. I'm not sure if that is what you meant by saving time but I find that very useful.

For Tip #1 : just having the hero selected for the hero slot unlock the class for other party member

Great point! I like to have a character and the hero to help learn a new class on one or two characters before switching one of them out.

@@Dumnorix76 Based on the tip under Menu- Expanding Class Choices, I believe it does. It says "The more members you have using classes you want to learn, the quicker you'll be able to teach them to the rest of the team, so take note of which classes you have set!" That's how I interpret that tip. Anecdotally, it also seems to be the case.

@@funisgaming I agree. What I have seen so far mimics this as well. But some of my classes that have a "D" synergy I just use nopon coins on if I want the ability. Even with more characters in the class it goes slow.

@@7Wolf77 For sure. Using Nopon coins to level is really nice. Plus, you will likely find yourself capping on them, which means they will autosell. It is definitely worth using them to level up classes rather than autoselling.

You don't have to press the RZ button to use master arts, you can just press the directional pad and its works that way. I do however have a question I cant seem to find the answer for, Whats the little square above the right side of arts used for?

Correct. You can just press the dpad to use the master art. Don’t need to hold RZ

You can't do that specifically (as far as I know), but there is an option under Game Settings to prevent your AI companions from using Ouroboros altogether.

The first early game tip is to turn on EASY MODE until the Agnus crew joins. I kid you not, Keves Arts recharge timer is atrocious. I was literally cheering with joy when the Agnus crew joined because it's xenoblade 2 with them
