For #2: Retainers can be any class/job except for Disciples of Hand (crafters) and limited jobs (Blue Mage, and soon-to-release Beastmaster). The Blacksmith isn't actually an option, but everything shown on screen and otherwise included in the voiceover is accurate. Some more info on what retainer jobs you might want to get: * Miner - Can do Mining ventures, which get anything that you have already gathered as a miner, as long as the retainer's gathering and perception scores are high enough from gear to meet the requirements. * Botanist - Can do Botany ventures, which get anything that you have already gathered as a botanist, with the same score requirements. * Fisher - Can do Fishing ventures, which get many that you have already caught as a fisher, with the same score requirements. Not all fish can be obtained through Fishing ventures, but pretty much all of the ones that are useful for quests and crafting are available. * Any non-gatherer job (i.e. all of the combat jobs) - Can do Hunting ventures, which get most of the normal drops from overworld monsters, like animal hides, fangs, blood, etc. The retainer's gear must meet the item level requirements for the job. Also some other crafting items that aren't gathered. Notably, all of these combat jobs can get the same items from Hunting ventures. Additionally, all retainers can be sent on Quick Ventures once they hit level 10. This will have the retainer get you something at random. It might be some neat weapon or gear, a crafting material, or housing decorations. There are also some unique items that can only be obtained this way.

You can queue for pvp as the job you want exp on then switch to another job inside as well

Do not sell armory chest in expert delivery, (at least dont get used to it) you should always have that tab hiding armory chest items since theres no way to lock gear from being traded. You will accidentally trade gear that is weekly restricted and hate the advise he gave you. Thank me later

Wrong. Anything that you can only get a reward from on a weekly basis, or anything that's considered "Current" content, can not be turned in for Expert Deliveries, much as it can not be desynthesized. It will just not show up on the list regardless.
