Hi Natasha! I don’t think you are complicating things or over explaining. You my dear are just very thorough with your explanations and demonstrations. And I personally think that’s fantastic! I love that. And I rather have explanation like yours rather than having something explained half way or without all the possibilities. Less questioning and second guessing that way. You are an excellent teacher of your craft. I dig this newspaper look. I’m definitely going to make a journal using it. And all those cute pockets and those wonky envelopes are just too sweet. Thanks Natasha! Enjoyed the video! Watched it twice! Some parts three times!! ❤️💜💚

What amazes me more than your creativity sometimes is your ability to reproduce a brilliant idea and tweak it to a whole new idea, again and again. We all have good ideas once in a while, but to work out an idea to a system, reproduce it, evolve it- and the consistency of you showing up with more, and more, and yet more... I'm in awe.

I loved all these ideas! Idea number 3... “SLEEVE” comes to mind for a name, it holds the journal. Does a sleeve have a bottom.🤔 who knows? Who cares?! 😂 I love all the uses for news paper! I found an old one in my stash, and have been cutting from it, doubt I have a full page left. If I do, I am making something from it! Going to honor the newspaper. My dad threw a paper when we were kids, I remember helping fold papers in the summer. We had a paper boy, his name was Ruben( his socks didn’t match) he would come collect for the paper, and give us a little ticket receipt. What a fun piece of ephemera that would be to find!! TREASURE😊 that is one thing I love about your channel Natasha, not only do you INSPIRE, but you spark GOOD MEMORIES!💕🤗

I love this idea so much! I’m kind of like you, I don’t like really touching newspaper, plus it gets that black ink on my fingers! So what popped into my mind is using the paper that newspapers are made of. Without investigating further, I decided to use the paper that is used for packing delicate items when you move. I have a bunch left over from my last move, which was 15 years ago!, You just never know when it’s going to be needed, right?! That’s what my sister told me anyway, maybe I’ll give her a special envelope! Thanks again for all the suggestions - - I love it!

I love the origami wallet fold. I hadn't considered binding multiples together. I have used it by making one and stitching a small signature into the spine so I have a notebook w/ extra pockets. I also make a blizzard book and slide the first and last flaps into inner the pockets of a wallet fold so it becomes a book cover. Other thing I do is to make one, fill it with journal cards and tags, and stick it into a pocket in a handmade mini album. This thing so so versatile.
