Girl, you rock! You are so spontaneously inventive, though I'm sure this was planned at least a little. But the ideas you throw out so casually, they're just wonderful, and you make it so smooth, like anyone can do that, and suddenly I think, "I CAN do that!" You're amazing. And that busy mind of yours is seriously incredible. I don't know what you're feeding it, but keep on growing it...Thanks!

Oh, I stumbled ...and that's my fave!! Morning pages, I don't recall that term, so thanks. WHAT a GORGEOUSLY Gorgeous Journal here. I thought, "I have to get my wee bit of belongings, from my traveling bag, and get gluing, as you share this", but then, I'd have missed something you were showing and rambling about. I couldn't miss anything, so thanks!! Very exciting sounds, too, btw. I MUST get gluing. Immediately!!

I can't believe the transformation from a beat up piece of cardboard... and I'll take ASMR any time! The most inspiring thing in this video, for me, is seeing how you make such wonderful use of magazine pages. It's as if you've given me permission to preserve the images I've collected as-is, that not all journaling cards need to be little collage masterpieces. I feel positively liberated, so thank you much!

I couldn't agree more!! After seeing what she does with old magazine pages, I now buy all old books (with lots of images), every time I go to the thrift store! A book about gardening in 1984 is normally something I wouldn't even glance at. Now? Now I open it and see each image in a whole new light!! I feel so grateful that Natasha shares her work so freely with us. She is so truly inspiring.

Hi Natasha, I very much like the fact that you’re recycling the cardboard and decorating with paper ephemera and fabric, both. I do have a Eco tank printer that was gifted to me by my son. The best part is the ink only cost about $20 and the delivery is free because my son has a Amazon account. In some parts of the world different items are much more expensive. That would be a reason why I also would refuse to buy a printer. There are those that love to rummage through thrift shops and buy leftover stationery. I’m that kind of person. Love the video and it wasn’t boring. It is very doable. I hope to see more of these covers with little sewing. Thanks so much

You're so decisive! Maybe it's because I'm a beginner, but I fuss and worry over every little paper. It can take me days just to decide what papers to use to make a signature, and half the time I change my mind even after I thought I'd decided. Embellishments can feel completely overwhelming.

I've never made a full-sized book before - perhaps I'll do what you did - abandon EVERYthing else and start something new. To answer your question re: ASMR, done correctly, it's tolerable at best, done wrong (where the person tries too hard) I feel like I need to leave the room and go have a cigarette, if you know what I'm sayin'. 😳😮🤭 ...but maybe that's just me. Love you sweetheart! Have an awesome day. Hugs, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗

One minute in, and I've already learnt something seriously useful! 26:27 "let's just move on from the 80's fashion"...ha ha ha...I just ignored it totally (except where unavoidable). Basically wore my '70's stuff until 80's faded off, whimpering, into the distance...(actually was forced to learn to sew, so I'd have things to wear). Stunning result as always. Gorgeous.

I used to do evening pages, because I usually think about things when I go to bed, and then I can't sleep, so it was a way for me to mull over what had happened during the day so I could put it aside and sleep. Morning pages wouldn't work for me, I think, because then it would only become a to do list. But evening rant writings, that's full of drama! 😄😄😄😄

Please don't stop your musings! I love them🌷I also love this video to the max, and it has inspired me to no end--you are the best, Natasha. In this tutorial I have gotten the most ideas for making my own journals. I will now write down the ideas/ways to create so many things (including ideas from tutorials I've already seen. Since I was not able to work on my journals for a long time (9 mos.) due to surgeries and complications (mainly intense pain). But now I am hunky dory and raring to go! I'm working on my Forest book in which I use my own paintings along with much of my collected and new ephemera, papers, etc. But in addition I shall be making envelopes, my doll and tree paperclips, hidden ones, and so much more. I have a few of your tutorials to watch again for other ideas as well as a few old ones from several YTers. Thank you soooooo much! XOXOJANE

8:42 It is good it is to have photo corners on hand (DIY version is doable enough but I went ahead & ordered a cutting die). 14:00 Magic done with a sewing machine to signatures (oh, I am now motivated to get my repaired). 16:47 Screen showing where to jump for those who likes to skip (I personally do not understand the skippers of this channel, I cannot get enough and re-watching it all… but still, good customer service). 17:16 The heaviness of this embellishment will help to hold the flip-out down (sending this to my circle punch ideas collection on Pinterest). 19:49 Awesome thing to do with any sequence of wholes - threading through them is always a bonus. 20:48 To color staples with sharpies!!! 32:02 Example of a beautiful journaling space. 38:12 ASMR experience (it did invoke something like goosebumps but nothing unpleasant, no).

This journal is stunning! The reason why I started doing this. I wish I had your creativity!!! You are so funny. You do know that you can’t make enough videos!!! I wake up in the morning and go straight to your channel to look for more videos. I have watched them all probably 4 times each! My favorite is “ Lazarus” and he left you!😞. I make lists of things to do from your videos and get things together and just “MAKE!” I have no idea what ASMR is..but whatever it is…you made me laugh!!!! I’ve never done morning pages, but I’m going to suggest my husband do them!!!!😮.

I love it 🥰 because it reminds of me; when sometimes you have too much around your mind but nothing is organized and it makes you feel overwhelmed, so I left whatever I’m doing at that moment and start creating something just to relax myself. By the way, the JJ looks beautiful as everything you do ❤! Thanks for sharing and gives me another reason to CRAFT CRAFT CRAFT ♥️ 💜 ❤ Meaning…”everything it’s going to be alright “ !!!! Thanks again 🙏🏼

Hi Natasha, Love your crafting, your sense of humor and your attitude, you are so inspiring with your easy to follow instructions and at times so funny. It's good having someone just over the ditch that has similar interests. Love you from New Zealand.

The vibe was definitely gypsy wild!!! Luvin it❤❤ I was raised in the ‘60’s. Raised my babies (1969, 1971, 1973, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979, 1988, 1989 Christmas Eve). So fashion all those years inspired me and my sewing machine 😊. They have all left the nest. Leaving me bedrooms to turn into craft/sewing rooms. Thank you for this ❤

Thank you so much for all your videos I have been binge watching all of them! Each week I look forward to your videos and enjoy all your creativity. You are such a blessing for me. I have heard of morning journaling but in the u.s I think we tend to call it meditating, or brain dumping. Brain dumping is more like morning journaling, you just sit there and write every thought no matter if it makes sense or not. The a.s.a.m.r-sorry if I got that wrong I’m not opposed to it or nessary all for it but I did enjoy yours. And may I say you did an awesome job getting out of your comfort zone I’m so proud of you it turned out so beautifully God gave you two great gifts #1 junk journaling and #2 such a kind and giving heart thank you

Absolutely love everything about this video, the journal, asmr, etc. your way of teaching is fun and clear and thank you for taking the time to show us all. On a last note I think all crafters have to have a touch of craziness to make us sane! 😅

This video is PERFECT timing! I just purchased some new linen, and being a mag pie collector and crafter, I of course saved the study cardboard insert. Now I have a plan what to do with it. Thank you!

Great video! I love the ramblings and the morning pages idea. I love that you actually use junk for all your work and not kits. As for asmr, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE hearing the sounds of the paper , cutting, etc. and the hand work, but I’ve seen some TikTok videos with lots of mouth noises (Chewing and lip smacking) that totally gross me out.

Wow, this Journal is absolutely gorgeous. Love that gorgeous cover. Lot of texture and interest. Each page in the journal is so lovely and interesting. Plenty room for journaling or create new ideas on some pages. Maybe add some hand painted flowers, fabrics etc. your work is amazing . Very talented artist. You know how to mix and match. You have a beautiful calming voice to listen too. Thank you for sharing.

Stunning Natasha! my goodness it’s just so gorgeous! I still have not made a journal but enjoy making stuff. I can’t wait to accumulate enough things to create something worth my time and effort. I have not made lace papers. I did not see any videos on those yet. I love how easy you make it seem. My biggest challenge is I don’t have ONE area for my stuff. It’s in 3 rooms and all over. It’s truly hindering creativity not having your stuff around u for inspiration. However, THIS VIDEO is inspirational. Please do an ASMR video!!! I can’t sleep at night without ASMR. Gorgeous book. I don’t journal but medical journal each morning. It ends up including my meals and appointments and such but I should add a page for thoughts too. That means I will need 700 page notebook per year doing that. Or 2-3 notebooks.
