I am happiest reliving in the 80s! either with makeup, music, books I read then, movies, a little fashion worship from the 80s. I miss real leather chukkas and pointy toe slouched booties. Water bracelets, my big hair, and colorful wardrobe. Stationary was awesome. Wish I had stickers and more stationary from the 80s. I missed out on alot of Sandy Lion, scratch n sniffs, puffy scented stickers, and Lisa Frank ( I never had any Lisa Frank). Also wish I saved cardstock and folders. Scool supplies. They were better then with that shiny hot press rigidity. I wish I had lots of those things. They made me so happy. ❤

Girl, you rock! You are so spontaneously inventive, though I'm sure this was planned at least a little. But the ideas you throw out so casually, they're just wonderful, and you make it so smooth, like anyone can do that, and suddenly I think, "I CAN do that!" You're amazing. And that busy mind of yours is seriously incredible. I don't know what you're feeding it, but keep on growing it...Thanks!

Oh, I stumbled ...and that's my fave!! Morning pages, I don't recall that term, so thanks. WHAT a GORGEOUSLY Gorgeous Journal here. I thought, "I have to get my wee bit of belongings, from my traveling bag, and get gluing, as you share this", but then, I'd have missed something you were showing and rambling about. I couldn't miss anything, so thanks!! Very exciting sounds, too, btw. I MUST get gluing. Immediately!!

I can't believe the transformation from a beat up piece of cardboard... and I'll take ASMR any time! The most inspiring thing in this video, for me, is seeing how you make such wonderful use of magazine pages. It's as if you've given me permission to preserve the images I've collected as-is, that not all journaling cards need to be little collage masterpieces. I feel positively liberated, so thank you much!
@EarthGuardian Жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more!! After seeing what she does with old magazine pages, I now buy all old books (with lots of images), every time I go to the thrift store! A book about gardening in 1984 is normally something I wouldn't even glance at. Now? Now I open it and see each image in a whole new light!! I feel so grateful that Natasha shares her work so freely with us. She is so truly inspiring.

What a great journal for so many kinds of journal practices , One of the most important outcomes of Morning Pages is that you end up creating a dialogue with yourself. I am such a perfectionist, it frightens me to start a blank page, but to have a little bit of inspiration helps me get started. I also use old journal pages to make new art journals. I gesso or paint over my old thoughts and gripes, discoveries, and lists and create amazing artwork. Again no blank page paralysis. I love rewatching your videos, there is always something new and inspiring.

One minute in, and I've already learnt something seriously useful! 26:27 "let's just move on from the 80's fashion"...ha ha ha...I just ignored it totally (except where unavoidable). Basically wore my '70's stuff until 80's faded off, whimpering, into the distance...(actually was forced to learn to sew, so I'd have things to wear). Stunning result as always. Gorgeous.

Natasha, I just LOVE you! You always make me laugh. This journal is wonderful... it's HUGE! I've never made a full-sized book before - perhaps I'll do what you did - abandon EVERYthing else and start something new. To answer your question re: ASMR, done correctly, it's tolerable at best, done wrong (where the person tries too hard) I feel like I need to leave the room and go have a cigarette, if you know what I'm sayin'. 😳😮🤭 ...but maybe that's just me. Love you sweetheart! Have an awesome day. Hugs, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗

Natasa. I look forward to your video upload every Saturday. You provide such inspiration for making beautiful journals out of seemingly ordinary things. A few weeks ago you mentioned that at the beginning of your junk journal making journey you found yourself collecting items to create and not actually spending time creating journals. I found 100% that I resembled that remark. These past few weeks I have been viewing some of your many tutorials and have made avocado dyed and party streamer dyed paper, created a journal out of a junk mail flyer, and am currently working on a journal created from a wallpaper sample book. I enjoy watching your videos because they do contain a lot of asmr. I believe your "I love you because..." journal making video has an asmr portion towards the end. Heaven! 😅. I actually created an "I love you because.... " journal for each of my 2 sons for Christmas. Oops, I'm rambling, but from the bottom of my heart I want to Thank you again for sharing your many wonderful ideas. ❤

I used to do evening pages, because I usually think about things when I go to bed, and then I can't sleep, so it was a way for me to mull over what had happened during the day so I could put it aside and sleep. Morning pages wouldn't work for me, I think, because then it would only become a to do list. But evening rant writings, that's full of drama! 😄😄😄😄

Thank You for linking the videos on these little things you have made previously. So much easier than trying to find them on my own. Much appreciated!

Whooo I like how this turned out. This would be an awesome sticker or ephemera holder or stamp holder too. I love the size of this journal. Good job Natasha I love it.

As I’ve only just stumbled across your channel . I find journaling very fascinating and interesting. I love how it all looks pretty and unusual even slightly Victorian. You are very artistic and creative. I was born In the very early 50’s so I’m getting on a bit now but I love to try new crafts. So please don’t hold back when you are teaching what and how to do things as I don’t know how to do it. I Will probably have to binge watch all of your videos. Then I will most probably forget what I’ve watched and have to keep watching.

This is one of my very favorite videos you have done! I love this journal... One of your envelope to booklet journal inspired me to create the first junk journal I ever tried to make several years ago. This video is just as inspiring for me. Thank you for your excellent tutorial!

You are precious. I started morning pages in 1996 and wrote them until about 8 years ago. They are on notebook pages in binders and they are the story of my life!

Love your videos. This large journal is everything! You are not wasting your time linking your other videos, I look at those as well. Something to make journaling a bit more special. Thank you!

Love your philosophy of not gluing everthing down. I think there is a place for journals that are just art but I feel you should be able to journal in a journal. Thanks for sharing your process.
