This is excellent! Being a Patreon is so worth it. I love your consistency and the quality of your lessons. Not only do you break things down well but you often teach us the theory behind what's being played so we can use it in other scenarios which is something John Mayer emphasizes. Thanks for being a great teacher!

OMG this lesson was so damn good! Finally someone with patience and who knows how to build on his lessons without leaving out important details while clearly explaining it all. Light bulb moments and absolutely loved it! That said, so refreshing to find someone teaching Neo-Soul/R&B who doesn't quickly fly through the lessons and randomly play things that are not even taught or explained. The charts were really helpful as well. Also the quality is excellent as well. Lastly I finally understand the diminished chord as you explained. Thank you and great job! Will definitely be exploring more of your page and all else you have for sure! 😎💯👍

You actually made me understand how to use the diminished chord! I finally understood that since it's movable because the notes remain the same I can use it to make beautiful passing chord moves that lead me to whatever chord I chose previously

Thanks bro. Amazing video. I didn’t get the part with the triads though. Why were you able to pick those triads? Why did it fit into the progression?

it works with that chord. its a little much to explain in a comment, but the why doesnt matter as much as exploring the concept with your ear
