Thanks for the clear video! For the sensor closest to the wheel, you can turn the wheel inward to give yourself some room, then pop 2 of the press-rivets out with a flathead and pull back the inner fender liner for super easy access. Luckily my deer strike didn't catch that one, but it was faster for my temporary fix for the front one to just reach in there with some gorilla tape. I'll be taking out the frunk today for the permanent fix!

I too needed to remove the frunk due to rats nesting under it! Very easy to follow. Thanks for posting.

My sensor got popped inwards due to the negligence of the Tesla service center and they were going to charge me almost $500 to fix it. I watched some KZbin videos and did it myself. I got mine to sit flush with the body of the bumper by using epoxy to adhere it to the inside of the bumper. If your concerned about the appearance of the sensor not flush with your bumper, try going back and unsticking the tape from your bumper and use epoxy. You may have to keep it held there for about 10min to make sure the epoxy is set and mostly cured but it will look much better than having that 1/8in gap between the sensor and the bumper.

Dustin! Bro you just saved me - I followed step by step on a Model 3 and it worked out. Now I’ve used super glue on the sensors so let’s see if it stays. But damn it’s too tight my fore arm got scratched in a few places. Lesson learnt - wear full sleeves shirt.

haha good suggestion, mine wasn't too bad + im a twig lol

Man how did you reach that, it takes my entire arm length to get to the far side sensor

Did the sensor have something that attached to it? Mine hasn’t worked.

Why is that orange Tesla tab still visible? Should it be tucked away inside?

I believe its to help emergency responders know where to go in case of a fire? I figured its best to have it stick out so they know where to go immediately. I could be wrong though

Terrific video. Constructive criticism if you would like: learn the name of the parts and use the correct names. Thank you!

I don't own a Tesla Model Y. I am not interested in cars. I was looking for BMX content. I watched this video from beginning to end.

Horn on Tesla model y is really low. Tesla quoted me 400 dollars. Can anyone refer to video or something, how to replace it please.🙏
