Hey Greg! I am loving your videos. This has really encouraged me to start using Heptabase a lot more and use some of the techniques you have talked about. I have a question for you. Were you able to somehow get the Bible into Heptabase in any kind of a way that you could reference or backlink to specific verses (or at least books or chapters) to the Bible? And if so, how? I would love to be able to do that. Thank you!
@Greg_WheelerАй бұрын
That’s awesome to hear! As far getting the Bible into Heptabase, I’m creating cards for the verses I’m studying and copying/pasting from my Bible resource. That way the insights I gather can be linked back to the card with those verses. There isn’t a way (as of now) you can import the whole Bible into Heptabase.

@@Greg_Wheeler Thank you for your reply! That's too bad but I think the way you are doing it is good too. I will probably start doing that too. Thanks!

I love what you are doing in this series on Heptabase. I'm here for the deep and wide thinking!! I'm totally a Craft guy but love the edgeless whiteboard. If only we could be able to bring more organization to the card system on Heptabase.

Thanks man! Cards can be organized in whiteboards (I see these as visual folders), sections and with tags too. What type of organization would be beneficial for you?
@craigthebugguy7055Ай бұрын
@@Greg_Wheeler My dream app would be a combination of Craft with Heptabase edgeless whiteboards. To be able to drag either a whole card or just elements of your card onto the whiteboard while still maintaining the Craft-like boards and templates

They didn't 'leave'... they were culled! Stupidly upsetting the balance. Always enjoy your content and ideas.

What?! I don’t remember seeing that in the book. Thanks for the clarification!

@@Greg_Wheeler not something anybody likes to admit.

How do you make the dotted lines between cards?
@Greg_WheelerАй бұрын
@@anickglobensky-bromow9820 if you click on the line some actions will pop up. Click the 3 lines icon (varying thickness) and you should see the dotted lines icon.

@@Greg_Wheeler Thanks! It will take some tinkering to get the hang of it!
