For those difficult to nail glassy on the edge of breakup to scooped mildly overdriven Princeton sounds, Keeley Super AT MOD on the PHAT setting gets to the sweet spot.

if you try putting the fuzz as your first pedal it should greatly reduce the background noise when you turn it on

cool! I miss the new vahlbruch kaluna II ...awesome pedal! Love the JHS Moonshine too 😉

I really want that halo pedal. It's badass. I recently trimmed down my board and I can see that thing replacing both my carbon copy and my rv5 reverb.
@joeyjooones13 сағат бұрын
It definitely will replace those. It sounds incredibly nice.

Great tones Joey! The only thing I would add would be a univibe or rotary speaker/leslie effect for some trippy Hendrix or Gilmour tones.

Hey Joey your tone sounds killer !!! Recently bought a Kingtone Heavy hand. Which is on the duellist pedal from king tone epic pedal with built in compressor. It has actually taken place of my Analogman king of tone !! With my Nash tele it sounds. Absolutely killer !!!

Thanks for your suggestions! I’m planning to build a pedalboard soon and will definitely look for some ideas. My goal is to set it up and not modify it too much, leaving it as is for a few years. However, I’m curious-your sound is really great. What cabinet and speaker are you using, and with which amp?
@theartofrecordingromainriv70224 күн бұрын
Love it! As a tele guy, have you ever tried the mxr dyna comp for clean tones?

Not yet, but I bet it sounds great!

I’m digging my micro pog + boss waza fuzz too!! Kickass setup & sound overall. I’m curious though: how do you control the level of each setting in the case you need to use them live?

You play very well and your pretty young (I think). No band? My best mate lives in Berlin and assures me it’s a hub of music! It would be great to hear your playing in a band context
@joeyjooones4 күн бұрын
My band is called Shady Belle, you can check it out on all streaming platforms. Berlin might be a hub of music, but it's usually electronic dance music. ;-)

Hi Joey! One quick question, do you run your delays in front of the amp or in the effects loop?
@joeyjooones3 күн бұрын
FX Loop, always
@diegofignani10183 күн бұрын
@joeyjooones do you use a buffer to avoid the signal loss? In my peavey classic 30 I lose a lot of volume every time I want to use the Fx loop...

Hey Joey do you use a wah pedal? I think that's one on the far right side or is it a volume pedal?

It’s a wah!

Ya if your loving the tone and up Against that much noise you gotta use the tim pierce studio trick of using a volume pedal as a gate hiding the noise when ever your not gonna play

@joeyjooones You have talent, know how to get a great tone ... It would be nice to see you break out of the index/third finger pentatonic box.
