Kim we are all guilty of it! That's why I wanted to admit I am the first person to think shopping for new stuff will make my space look different. Simply moving things around, pairing them differently will make your space feel fresh. When you look at something for a long time in the same spot it gets boring. Move it around, bring some decor out from your cabinets that haven't been styled with in a little bit. I guarantee ... your space will feel different! Hi Betty! I have defiantly have done a lot of trial and error when it comes to burning candles. One of my favorites is my sisters candles (linked below). One cause they are clean burning and seem to burn well for me. I think it also depends on proper candle care ie trimming wicks before and after a burn, allowing for the first burn to be the longest for even burning etc. I also enjoy both CasaLuna candles and Magnolia home. ❤️ www.mullendesignco.com/collections/candles/products/mdc-everyday-candle

*Great Styling Tips* . Another home run video. I have a thing for live edge acacia wood bowls and risers. I am constantly moving them around for a re-fresh. Another styling element I reach for constantly is plate stands/easels. Much like your cook-book stand concept, I currently have one on a side table with the family album book of 2022. Last but not least, YAY for trays! I have two very deep bookcases in an ivory paint color that flank the console my TV is on. I have used medium wood tone trays to ground my shelf styling elements and add contrast and warmth. My coffee "station" sits in an acacia wood tray in my galley style kitchen.

@@conniegriego4558 I kinda just placed it in there. Keep in mind it’s jimmy rigged. So, you kinda have to finagle with the lightbulb once you get it settled. I also think it might depend on the size of the vase and shade the person uses.

Whites are becoming the trend again, but I don't prefer a white paint. Your color has some color to it without being too light or too dark. And it goes so well with your neutral decor. Perfect.

Great tips, Hannah, thank you! I LOVE your rattan bar stools! Where did you get them and are they comfortable to sit on when wearing shorts, as I live in Hawaii, and we live in shorts all year long!

Hi Susan! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. My counter stools are from RH - "Adrienne". Wearing shorts... no, they are not (just being transparent). I usually put a towel down if I plan to be sitting awhile with shorts on. However, RH makes a cushion that people can purchase as an add on for extra comfort. I am sure you can find a tie on cushion from Amazon or a cheaper source. They get more comfortable the more you sit in them. I love them and have held up great since adding them to my kitchen. I hope this information helps. xoxo

However, after seeing your bar stools in this video gave me that "ahaa" moment on the kind of look that I want for my kitchen as I have a mixed bag of Asian and Hawaiiana type decor and rattan bar stools would be perfect!! I am glad you enjoyed! Yes, having an empty vase is totally ok! Allow it to breathe and have its moment. Keep your eyes out at Homegoods, thrift stores and Amazon for coffee table books. It's something you kinda accumulate over time. ❤
