Everything is so very true and i wish someone told me this 20 years ago. ❤ Collecting on a very small budget was difficult sometimes. Everyone showcased their 1000 Euro dolls and got 3 of them in the time i could spend under 50 Euro for my next one. But it teached me to differ between "i love that" and "i want it because everyone has it". 😊

I loved listening to you talk Rachel . Your words are wise and make such sense .Over the 40 years of doll collecting I had made so many mistakes buying. Thinking best buy a doll before the fair ends regardless if I like it. These days now I buy dolls that I really love. like the Lynne and Michael Roche dolls they are a "Hell Yes" ha! !One thing I love is donating my dolls to people who have never owned one in the hope they will learn to be interested in this wonderful hobby. I want to know whats the difference between obsession and addiction . I need to keep buying incase I wont get the chance again. Thankyou Racheal for another fantastic video .oh BTW I noticed the shirt and love it it suits you so well . would also be nice in black and white, just a thought ha!!! Take care xxx

I have zero regrets about any of the dolls I have and I love them all so much. It's really important to me to be very, very judicious financially and with space, so my doll collecting has actually helped my brain with decision making. The questions I ask myself in doll buying to determine what's really important to me, I've found actually translates to other areas of life -- I can then identify feelings of what I truly want that's important to me versus what I "should" do, versus when to call it that you're not going to get the same chance again, and differentiating liking something versus truly loving something.

Thank you-very helpful. I’m pondering whether to purchase a replacement item (not @ all doll related ). I bought something to use for a replacement a few weeks ago. It wasn’t cheap & we don’t have a lot of space-but it’s not living up to my expectations; so now I gotta figure out whether to just make do (again) or get something that actually would probably work better.

Hell yes is a good way to.look at it sometimes a doll will be on your wishlist for a while or be out if stick whike you are thinking about it and once you have money it become a hell yes for you ❤
