Are you still climbing under sinks? I got one of those good mechanics knee pads to lay on. it's soft and flexible, great on the back. Highly recommend that one.

Not plumbing but what I HATE are light switches for the bathroom OUTSIDE the room. When you’re travelling and your companion is asleep and you need to go you can’t help but flood the room with the bathroom light. In the US the switches are in the bathroom so you can go in close the door then turn the light on.
