Most figs (common) aren't self-fertile. Self fertile is when the same tree fertilizes itself. Instead, they're parthenocarpic meaning they don't need fertilization/pollination to produce fruit.

Please update your video on Desert King. It only provides one crop (Breba which grows on 1-year old wood) unless you live in California or somewhere the fig wasp exists to pollinate the 2nd crop. This is pretty rare, again, unless you live in CA.

Didn’t know Brown Turkey is hardy to zone 5! Would love to grow one but Chicago winters are so harsh.

Chicago Hardy is a pretty solid cold-hardy tree and people on youtube's fig-o-sphere can make alternate suggestions if you'd prefer a different cold-hardy variety with similar features.
