A great set of shoulder mobility exercises Sid. I've viewed lots of YT videos on this topic and yours is my favourite so far. I have a banana bend chest-to-wall handstand and I hope these will help to straighten my alignment! Thanks

Technically that's only 3 for the handstand but very informative video! And useful! Trying 2 of them today
@sidpaulson15 жыл бұрын
ALL of them are going to help with your overhead mobility, WHICH is going to help with your Handstand. The shoulder extension will help with Tight biceps and chest, which are also important in shoulder flexion:)

hello. I am wondering what am I doing wrong in the last exercise. it gets a bit annoying cause I feel pressure in my rotator cuff. tried many ways of locking the arms . any tips for that ? xD. is there a possibility my rotator cuff muscle are weak or the capsule itself is stiff? thanks.
@sidpaulson14 жыл бұрын
That exercise can be a bit annoying for some people. I would just skip it if it's too uncomfortable.

Is something to add to the beginner GST or it’s on separate day?
@sidpaulson12 жыл бұрын
You could do this prior/after the gymnastic strength session OR do it on a completely separate day. It all depends on your individual situation and what will be the best way for you!
@3765sor2 жыл бұрын
@@sidpaulson1 thanks for the quick reply! I was hoping for a good workout plan that covers both GST, flexibility, and mobility on a weekly basis... the core compression and strength is easier or more doable under 15% body fat? I currently have like 26% body fat...

Just train for a strong shoulder. Work on all the movements and ranges of motion available at the shoulders.

I don't understand why improving shoulder extension range (more anterior delt, chest and bicep flexability) improves overhead (shoulder FLEXION) mobility? Im clearly missing out on something... 🤔
@sidpaulson17 жыл бұрын
+eliasaf aloni I mainly added it because I wanted some exercises for both shoulder flexiblity and extension since they are both as important. I also find that personally shoulder extension help me stretch out my chest which aids in my shoulder flexion. Just a personal preference thought. Sorry for confusing you haha.
@elyasafaloni89257 жыл бұрын
Sid Paulson, quick response.. thanks. 👍

Horrible soundtrack. Why??!
@sidpaulson16 жыл бұрын
Either the soundtrack is horrible.. Or your taste in music is horrible. Who’s to judge?
@kungfuman826 жыл бұрын
@@sidpaulson1 The soundtrack is objectively horrible, but the content you put out is top-notch. I just watch your videos on mute. It's nothing personal. A lot of videos have this kind of stuff or, worse, some kind of rap. I get the inspiration and motivation and advice without having my ears raped by hitting the mute button on my computer.
@zenstories6 жыл бұрын
I second that! The instructional part of your videos is very, very good but the audio is really subtracting from the content as a whole - generally, the music chosen for your videos is very distracting and also way too loud compared to the parts where you talk. That means the viewer has to hit the volume button frequently when watching. However, I actually did purchase a couple of your courses the other day and thankfully the music on the paid content (the ones I got anyway) is a little more scaled back.
@sidpaulson16 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind this video is old, I change my videos based on the feedback I get!🙈 What courses did you join?
@zenstories6 жыл бұрын
The pike and the pancake tuts - but the music on those is not that intrusive as in this one and some of the other videos on KZbin. Working through the paid video tuts from your website is more about sore hamstrings than sore ears ;)
