@@HeyYouFromThatGame you have to dodge them in PGR. With a perfect dodge you’ll activate the matrix mode which slows time for an amount of time. There are certain bosses which you can parry against. You can also counter some of the attacks from the normal enemies with some special characters (transcendents) and some of the attacks will become blue instead of red and you can counter them

It keeps stunning me, that in all the reviews, and videos I have seen, like this one, which clearly points out the differences between Wuwa and Genshin, how rarely I am seeing it mentioned how much of the rest of the game structure is the same as Genshin, with a graphic face-lift, and changed terminology. I have fun with both, but I can't ignore how much they are the same... except that Wuwa will not play on all the devices that Genshin runs just fine on, and only runs on low graphic settings.

Wuwa actually rewards skilled players. In the first five hours I've played it, I defeated a level 120 enemy with a level 30 character, solo. Sure, it was a pain because my dps was small, but the fact that it's possible by itself sold the game for me.

As someone who player both extensively since release , wuthering waves is the better game , exploration is enjoyable , every region is different with different mobs and filled with puzzles , combat is way better , farming echoes is not hidden behind a currency, you can farm as many echoes to build all your characters as much as you want .there are things that needs to be worked on but the game is very promising. The story telling is similar to genshin in a sense that at first it was bad but started getting better and better , the limited characters quest was so epic , looking forward to more story .

Jianxin can generate shield like Zhongli, but from my experience with Genshin for straight 2 years, I found her to be more like Beidou. Or maybe she's a combination of both in terms of mechanic. After all, her shield only goes up after a duration of time adds a strategic layer: Do I want to pull up shield or use her E skill to parry an attack and hit em back? Or in my case where my team doesn't use another healer, "Do I want to use the healing shield for my ATK-focused characters or use it for Jianxin?". And speaking of combat, Genshin having some of the best gameplay mechanic being made redundant by damage numbers and "One-shot" focus makes me felt relieved that WuWa understands a thing or two about not making a boring combat (well I mean, PGR). Edit: And THANK GOD WuWa revised the worst part of my entire Genshin experience, cuz "Echoes" has yet another layer of strategic choices on what kind of add. power to use, either for powercreep or for fun in combat, not just stat up.

One more thing about combat in Wuthering Waves is... At the time of typing now, there is virtually no way you can instantly get a character back to full health with just consumables So in a nutshell, you can't just rush in, lose HP and heal. One simple mistake and goodbye to your HP

I have played both games and it dose have lots of similarities but there are still some different things. I liked both. It's just genshin universe's Stories are really captivating and withering waves is still new so i don't know much about the story . Both games have lots in common but they are still different games so there is no need to compare them. After all they are just games if you like to play either one to play just play it. there is no need to put others down why you like and dislik things about some topics Just enjoy what you like and let others enjoy what they like (I am saying this because i saw many comments saying negative things about each other) If you enjoy playing genshin then play it If you enjoy playing weathering waves then play it Hope you all have wonderful time

YES, finally someone has mentioned animations as well. Every character does SO MUCH FLEX while attacking. You can look just at Chixia doing Basic Attack. Every character has unique plunge animation. Every Hold Attack has its unique animation. This is the aspect that is done 10/10.

I've participated in the 2nd beta, i laughed so hard watching this video, the AI voice makes it even better lol. i just realized it's most if not all are true as f*ck, tried brute force and got 1 shotted by boss instead lmao and yeah there's no need for a game killer. Genshin can be genshin, wuwa can be wuwa. Competition can make genshin even better in the future for its current players, and maybe both for wuwa as well it's a win-win! i've been a day 1 player of genshin with 4 of my friends, stayed for 2-3 years++ and we all quit afterwards. Even though we still play together in other games , hope i can reunite in wuwa cause the co-op seems more fun and have more meaning unlike it's brother from another mother. oh additionally the music in wuwa is 🔥🔥🔥 just like PGR. thanks for the video , liked and subscribed!

Like Neuvillette with CA, heal, spam CA and other DPS characters too, they just stand right infront of the bosses and spam attacks. Look at how many people said Arlecchino was bad/mid just because she can't heal or actually have to dodge. Meanwhile WuWa is kinda like a soul game (not really) with better gacha system. ​@@WarSuperior Proper rotations do exist, yet It doesnt Matter Cuz you can clear the hardest content in the Game by completly ignoring them, all you need to clear abyss is having characters decently build, rotations, setups, anything is an actual requirement to clear the hardest content, so, no, Genshin doesnt actually require any kinda of skill at all, objectively speaking. Ofc you can still apply all the Game knowledge and clear some seconds faster, good for you, you earned the exact same rewards as the players that just spammed skills and NAs ignoring ICDS, uptimes , doubles swirls and Proper rotations 👍hope you felt rewarded in Genshin, where the content is a joke that doesnt require any kind of skill or thinking.

I would honestly say Genshin is a great F2P friendly game for casuals. Especially compared to a ton of other shitty games I've played where even the main game content is heavily biased against f2p players. Like... I clear all kinds of content f2p, I can literally plan and aim to get characters by making use of their amazing pity system that actually carries over between banners. I understand getting frustrated with not getting the character you want exactly when you want it (heck, I got salty when luck didn't bless me for Furina) - but it's all about planning and picking what you really want. I've got a ton of people I want planning like that - including Arlecchino recently. Unless you want to be on KZbinr level with big numbers to flex it's literally not too a big deal to have fun as f2p here. I like the combo move thing about Wuva and the echo thing etc! Though I would say some of the points you mentioned here supporting Wuva would be exactly the ones that I find as disadvantages for my personal style lol - eg, I don't like the idea of a solo character build and clear - the whole thing I love is the synergy and elemental reaction and strategy. I'm interested in some of the little stuff about Wuva though from watching my sibling play - the combat system, echos, the fluidity of shifting between characters even in mid run, the unique jump mechanism which can work even in combat etc - and if I'm downloading the game it would be to experiment with these! : D

I still will play both respectively. I prefer Genshin's designs in characters in all honesty but I prefer Wuthering Waves' fighting mechanics. I'm bound to Genshin forever unfortunately. 😂

Wuwa's combat system is already good even without element reaction. How much more so if they add it in future patches? Then, GI will be buried in the ground even more.

Both games are fine. But wuthering did the impossible. I got a ticket that let me choose a 5 STAR. Genshin only gave away 4 stars.
