this armor set is actually terrible, way heavier than other sets that provide similar defense, and the dancing lion helmet reduces your flask healing and your fp, and at this point in the game 8 levels usually isnt worth that trade off, and the blessing of Marika is a single use item, the best thing you can do with this is literally never use it, just put it in your item equipment and a summoned mimic can use it to heal... but getting scadutree fragments is good

Armor of solitude gives the highest poise I’ve seen in the game maybe other than bull goat and Moore but that’s very late dlc and looks way better imo. The head yea it’s pretty useless but good for no hit. The blessing of Marika can be good like if fighting a boss and you are out of healing flasks.

@@troller9582 the tree sentinel set by comparison provides about the same defenses, but provides 82 poise instead of 96 (14.5% less) but with the reduced weight of 45 instead of 57.1 (21% less) bull goat talisman can be used to increase poise by 33% if you need more than 82 poise. and endure can be used for temporary poise if you just want it to cast a big spell or something, but poise really isnt that good of a stat and not worth becoming obese for or sacrificing damage negation or damage output for. How the armor of solitude looks is the best thing about it.

Also, revered spirit ash can drop VERY rarely from the basic shadow enemies

they don't drop rarely from the shadow enemies they only drop from the ones that are holding a glowing pot above their head and you have to kill them before they break the pot or else you will need to rest at a grace and try again (edit) some of them also drop scadutree fragments
