The best thing I love about the simple addition of a reliable jump in this game, is that the *near* frame-perfect hitboxes make it so a jump is as viable as a dodge depending on the range of the enemy attack. I find myself jumping to avoid an attack as much as I used to roll in souls games, which also creates a new dynamic for attacking. Fromsoft is one of the few studios who take their accumulative effort across titles and utilize them to make their future games more efficient and fun while repeating the same gameplay loop.

I just can’t imagine the time , effort , expertise , and “ love and passion “ that goes in making such games. I am a simple man and when i play Elden ring I just sometime pause for a few seconds and absorb the beautifying canvas painting like scenery and get goosebumps all over me. And can’t help but think that I am privileged to be able to experience this game.
@SakuraWulf8 ай бұрын
Allow me to offer a different perspective, since i'm not a simple man. Any time I see new software, I think, "damn, another missed opportunity." Also, you could have said beautiful instead of beautifying. It kinda ruined the vibe. I have no illusions about privilege, regardless. Sure it's a privilege, a privilege they created to generate profit. Sure, it may have been a passion project in some sense, but one that likely wouldn't have seen the light of day unless their customers were willing to support them. All that being said, I understand where you're coming from. That comment is the sort of feeling you get when you experience life-changing events, like withdrawals from staying clean, getting out of jail, near death experiences, and from what i've heard, finding God which is really just establishing a healthy relationship with yourself. I hope you understand what i'm saying here. While I do have these moments quite frequently since this is what i'm looking for in entertainment, I wouldn't comment about it like this, unless I was on drugs.

A pretty early place to farm thin beast bones is go down on the beach (like left from Tree Sentinel /Starting Are) there's a cave down their that is honestly pretty scary... a pretty big boss [gives you the Clothing modification kit that allows you to change the look of armor] Anyways w/ a Spectral Summon & (for me @least) their was another summon down their you could use. Of a like dead Hero or something (He's pretty Beast, &Even tho I Was Online. No It Wasn't another Player-Character that I Summoned) Along ₩/ some throwing knives &fire &keeping distance from the boss letting it attack your companions You can probably take him down easy enough The cave let's out on a little island That there is NO Enemies On (Well except for @night when there's 3 Spectral Jellyfish things. that are Easy 2Kill) Anyways, There is a bunch of Beasts (Big &Small) &Birds. That All really Don't have Anywhere to go &You can Chase them &Kill them w/out having to worry about running into enemies. Their is Also A Site Of Grace their so you can just rest &respawn everything. &Just chase the ones close too you. (Also Some Pretty Good [Not Awesome] items on the little island) I currently use it to farm bones &feathers for Fletched Arrows (&non-fletched Arrows... +the2 fire varietys) &Throwing bone-Knives. [I like having a Full Inventory of those Items &As Big Ass Stockpile as possible in Chest] Probably definitely not the best place.. but it works for now..

Bloodhound's Step is also better for traversing damaging terrain because its longer range. Interestingly enough, you can 'block' lava damage. You just need to be facing the direction that the lava is flowing, otherwise the shield can't block it.

0:59 while you are right in that you can simply hit the skeletons while they are on the ground reanimating - using a weapon like the inseperable (D's) sword or any weapon that does holy damage kills off skeletons immediately, without having to deal with them on the ground. very useful for certain dungeons where there's a lot of them, as there's a few s on the skeletons when you kill them before you can hit them on the ground to kill-kill them, and skipping this process can be very valuable in crowded fights. this obviously works both ways, so if you're up against a holy-damage boss, using your skeletons is just a waste of spirit ashes.

I love this game. Something I just figured out. On the map screen you can add sites of grace to a favorites menu and navigate back to them really fast. It is so nice. Would have been nice to know on my first play through.

Thank you for this guide!! I JUST now learned that you can hold "Y" and press "right attack" button to 2Hand a weapon.

I want to go for a Magic/Melee build. Spells in one hand and a sword in the other - no shield. What would be the recommended starting class in your opinion? And which stats should I focus on?
@Frvnklin2 жыл бұрын
Starting class: Prisonner Stat focus: Int/Dex
@MichaelFromTheAttic2 жыл бұрын
@@Frvnklin I was thinking that too. In that case I should really even drop the idea of eventually wielding a shield and alternating between the shield and the staff right? Or maybe that would be viable for some smaller encounters?
@Frvnklin2 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelFromTheAttic not sure how it's going to differ in this game but usually that's the idea because you will use your spells to buff your weapon or to do ranged damage. There's no reason to use a shield(left hand) and the staff(right hand) at the same time unless you're a pure caster

You'll get it from an NPC invader in the Roundtable hold. I don't know what triggers the invasion, I think it was my third time going there

Called the royal remains set. There are walkthroughs on KZbin on how to get it. Have to talk to a certain npc and then kill the leaning edgelord at the roundtable

Ideally look at a guide. Otherwise head to the Village of Albinaurics which is NW of the Liurnia Lake Shore lost grace (which is behind Stormveil Castle). once into the village head up a hill and past a fire breathing guy who is standing under a tree and near an old house. To the right of the house is a chest behind a small wall which has a half medallion grab that and teleport to the round table. this can all be done without fighting anyone except the intruder at the round table.

Thank you for not talking like a KZbinr, who puts that rising tone at the end of each word of each sentence. Also good tips. I knew most of them, but the ones I didn't were so good. Like, holding down on the D-pad to get to the first item. Nice.

Get the No Skill ashes and duplicate it whenever you want to sell a weapon that has an ashes of war attached. Just attach the No Skill and then you can sell it without losing the Ashes of War you want to keep.
