"Sir Stamford Raffles said "There is something in the Malay character that is congenial to the British minds. There is a spirit of personal independence and high sense of honour which distinguishes these people." Is a good description of why Malays loves outdoors more than other Asian races.

A fascinating window on the past! Impressive stuff! The English were such a self-entitled lot! Almost every other "face of Malaya" is seem working but the Englishman plays golf accompanied by the voiceover, "The British were the 5th race to settle in the country and they brought it its peace and prosperity." Such a naive understanding of the situation!

Istiadat Menjunjung Duli Raja Muda Selangor dahulu pun sama dgn sekarang, gerakan Siku Keluang tu langsung tak berubah dari zaman ke zaman, cuba keris sahaja tidak lgi dikeluarkn dari sarungnya.. Nobat Diraja Selangor pun dulu rentaknya agak laju..

1960 kita bergantung padi sawah dan tanam buah2an sayur2ran di bukit2 tanah ladang dan hidup secara nomard selama 10 tahun turun temurun dari nenek moyang,,masyaa allah😭🙏

Bukan dari Finas atau Filem Negara, saya dapat dari pada sumber lain , Di Finas tiada upload ini , saya dapat dari Britain archives filem ini dirakamkan pada tahun 1937, ditayang pada tahun 1938

Whatever you called them Sakai or no sakai, they were the 'true natives' of this Malay land. Simple and 'non-materialistic' hunting for foods with parang(machete) and 'blow-pipe'. They lived harmoniously with Nature. No 'foreign interference' to their way of life until the so-called materialistic modernisation began.
